Description:
Adds a canteen to the game that needs to be refilled after a certain amount of uses and has to be used manually.
I made this mod because the pre-order canteen felt a bit too much unrealistic. And after searching around I bit I didn't find a mod that fixed this problem completly, so I decided to make a more realistic version of the canteen.
And here it is, no more auto drink and no more infinite clean water!
Now you will have to refill your canteen after a certain amount of uses and you will have to use it manually. And if you run out of clean water, well....tough luck! You can fill it with radiated water instead, at least you won't die of dehidration right!? ;)
Info:
- You can find the canteen on top of the fireplace at Doc Mitchel's house.
- To refill the Canteen just crouch near a water source and ativate.
Known Issues:
- If you use the canteen more then once without closing the pipboy, the effect to reduce dehydration will only be applied once. This happens because the game only recognizes that the item has been unequipped after you close the pipboy.
Only way around this is to either close the pipboy after you drink, or hotkey the canteen andd use it through there.

Compatibility:
- This mod will not be compatible with other mods that give the possibility of refilling water using sinks and toilets.

Installation:
- Extract the Meshes folder, the Textures folder and the Hardcore Canteen.esp to your Fallout New Vegas Data folder.
Unistallation:
- Delete the extracted files from your Fallout New Vegas Data folder.
