the ammo found in the mailbox in the back of the gas station will be in ammo section of the pip boy, however do not pick up the ammo on the floor as it will be in the weapons section in the pip boy, just take the ammo in the mailbox
this mod DOSE WORK! you can either- use console to search (press ` (under the left esc key) to open console and type search + whatever it is you are looking for. in this case it would be "search alien" that brings up ALL items related to aliens in the game then you just use player. additem and the item code to spawn them. or you can go to the gas station and get them. the blaster from fallout 3 is OP and thats NOT a bad thing the power cells can be hard to find but worth it and having 2 alien rifles means you have a spare for followers
iT DOESN'T WORK, i downloaded this mod and the alien power cells appear in the weapons area rather than the ammunition area, also the alien rifle has no value in this game so it's not worth it having it on my inventory adding to that.
I'm having a prob that's mentioned below, the Captains Pistol has no sound when it fires, this pistol requires no ammo when shot. - The alien ammo cartridges on the gas station floor are in the pip boys weapons menu and can't be equipped. Other than the quite gun, the other alien guns cannot be fired...no ammo
No, better yet, If Bethesda made an EXPASION in which you found the remains of an alien spacecraft, get beamed aboard a bigger spacecraft, fight some aliens, grab some cool alien tech, fire a giant laser beam at the Earth, have an epic space battle, and meet samurai, all in one day!
you know what would be awesome? if someone made a mod for New Vegas in which you could find the crashed remains of the blown off part of Mothership zeta and you could go in it.
