- Question: Can I use this mod with B42 Inspect?
Yes, but the vast majority of animations included in this mod do not have custom made inspect/ammo check animations. You'll likely encounter weird, glitchy jumps between idles. It won't break anything. - Question: Can I use this with FNV Clean Animations and Anniversary Anim Pack?
Yes. However, basically every animation included in NVAO will overwrite the animations included in those packs. You'll only benefit from having those packs installed if you have mod-added weapons that don't have custom kNVSE animations. However, having these packs installed will not harm anything. - Question: What is the difference between this mod (NVAO) and FNV Clean Animations and Anniversary Anim Pack?
Read the descriptions and watch the included video. That should make the differences abundantly clear. - Question: I installed the WAP preset but am still experiencing clipping!
Read the description and then download this mod. - Do I really need to install all of the requirements?
No. You actually don't even need to download this mod if you want to use it. You just have to really want these animations to work in your game without issues, and they will! If this doesn't work, you're simply not thinking hard enough. - My pistol slides are locked back!
Install 2015 C++ redistributable so JIP LN NVSE Plugin works correctly. - Question: Can you make a patch for vanilla timings?
No. There's no way to get the animations looking the way they do and still have vanilla timings. As in life, time is a finite resource when crafting animations. We don't get to just assign a time based on a whim--how many frames we put in effects how long the animation is. That's simply how it works. Many of them hew as close as possible and have very little to zero impact on actual game balance. I do mean that: I recently played the game up until Level 23 and that I was not hampered in any meaningful sense. However, if it's that important to you, you should stick with a FNV Clean Animations + Anniversary Anim Pack combo.
- Question: Does Agility and Rapid Reload effect these animations?
Yes, of course they do. Why wouldn't they? - Question: Where should I put this mod in my Load Order?
Largely, that does not matter. However, if you use sWRP, aWRP, or WAP, see the "Installation" section in the Description. - Question: I'm not seeing animations I selected. What should I do?
You installed the mod wrong. See the "Installation" section in the Description.
- Question: The gun is too far away/too close to the screen, but I like the rest of the animation. Can this be changed?
Yes! You can use HIPControl to edit the position of any idle animation you don't care for. Be sure, as always, to read the description on that mod's page. - Question: My iron sights aren't aligned for X gun.
Download all of this mod's requirements, including Iron Sights Aligned. If that doesn't work, use ISControl Enabler's built in editor to align the sights yourself. The way that iron sight animations and weapon animations work in this game means we can't possibly account for every load order out there, just the most common ones, so you may have to do this. If you don't know how to access ISControl Enabler's in-game menu: well, you should go read the mod page then, shouldn't you? - Question: I'm not seeing the new idle animations!
Download and install HIPControl.
