Texture Issue:
vanilla texture is with black underwear.
if bodyslide skin is okay but ingame skin is vanilla = archive invalidation
if bodyslide skin is vanilla and ingame skin is vanilla = no texture mod installed
if bodyslide skin is vanilla but ingame skin is okay = call exorcist.. or you have a mod that changes default texture path like a race mod

Extra steps to connect mo2 with bodyslide in the description:
BodySlide and Outfit Studio
Mod Organizer
- Download and install the archive to MO like you would do with any other mod and enable it.
- In MO2, go to the Data tab on the right, locate the BodySlide x64.exe in the CalienteTools/BodySlide folder, right click it, and add it as an executable. You can then launch it through MO2.
- When BodySlide is open, click on the Settings button and ensure the Game Data Path points to your actual game data folder, e.g. "C:/Games/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim Special Edition/Data/".
- Install any BodySlide addons such as body mods and outfits to MO as well.
- After BatchBuilding, the files will appear in your Overwrites folder. You will need to create a new mod folder, for example 'BodySlide Output', move the files from Overwrites into this folder, and then enable it.
- We do not troubleshoot MO installation issues, please ask for help in Mod Organizer communities.
I installed MO2 and simply followed the instruction above, here are the pictures of the process:

hey i have this problem where i see some weird texture or mesh glitch on first person but not on third, any reason? it looks like kinda stretched
nvm enhanced camera fixed it
hello, you probably have a skeleton conflict for first person, mod that's most popular that changes first person skeleton is Enhanced Movement.
you can use available patch for it, there's two i know:
Enhanced Movement BNB Compatibility First Person Skeleton
Enhanced Movement Skeleton Patch from Robert S mod
and yep, using enhanced camera works too.

How can I turn off breast physics for this body?
Open Outfit Studio > Load Outfit/Body > Right Panel > Bones Tab > Scroll down to find and highlight breast.L and breast.R bones > Right Click > Delete > From Project > Save > build again in bodyslide.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been trying to port a Skyrim head to NV but when I load the FaceGeom the nif is never correctly aligned. The head is in the correct position but the headparts (eyes, mouth, brows...) are always put in the origin. Do you happen to know the exact coordinates so I can manually align them?
Head:
try checking out the vanilla head by using BAE to extract from BSA file.
import nif to outfit studio:
Meshes\characters\head\headfemale.nif
Double click on FemaleHead shape on right panel
on pop up window go to Coordinates tab
Coordinates:
origin
x -0.0041350019
y 0.2903370857
z 112.8434906006
rotation
y -0.0000001748
check Recalculate goemetry...
Faceparts:
using nifskope:
inside Nif > 0 Ninode > NiTriShape > NiTriShapeData
there's coordinates.
There might be something here for .egm:
How to Make a Freakish Custom Race (Tutorial)
to check alignment of facepart:
(ex. eyelefthumanfemale.nif)
you can copy branch 0 Ninode branch of facepart, check which bone its connected under 0 Ninode > NiStringExtraData = Bip01 Head
paste branch into headfemale.nif > 0 Ninode > Ninode = Bip01 Head
adjust coordinates of the eye accordingly: 0 Ninode > NiTriStrips > NiTriStripsData
note down new coordinates, close headfemale.nif, dont save.
open eyelefthumanfemale.nif and place adjusted coordinates.
then make .egm .egt and .tri of each facepart.
havent tried but in theory it should work

Hello.I referred to the error log and it pointed me to the TypeCBBE Bone.
error is from Shape > Check for bad bones.
Hello, this is expected, You can fix it or leave it. I suggest you fix it, you won’t see any difference or very little.
I fixed bad bones on other outfits from this mod but I guess I didn’t fix all outfit.
almost all new Vegas outfit files have “bad bones”, you can see difference if you “check pose” on posing tab. Outfit will move slightly in pose mode or in game if there are bad bones.
additional info on 'bad bones', also note for myself if i forget in the future.
The technical term is NIF Skin Transforms.
this occurs if there is a difference with skeleton used in outfit/body and skeleton used in outfit studio settings.
if you setup a skeleton in outfit studio setting like in description and the outfit/body is built with a different skeleton like vanilla, the outfit/body will move in game and in pose mode according to the coordinates of the skeleton used by the outfit/body.
most of the time this is negligible but some outfits have extreme nif skin transform difference like some outfits from tammers mod.
*This mod is using NV Compatibilty skeleton NIF Skin Transforms coordinates.

Cant find Uniboob slider for any outfit
Hello, uniboob slider has been applied to 5 outfits for now, Will add more outfits soon.
Cass outfit, combat armor, arcades lab, Benny suit, and armored vault suit.
Hmm.. Uniboob slider is not a slider you can easily see, try moving the slider Breast SH/Silly Huge to max, cleavage area for non uniboob sliders are ugly/collapsed. You can compare it with combat armor (with uniboob) and combat armor mark 1 (without uniboob).

How can I make this mod work with mannequin race?
Hello, I'll make a separate download for it since I use it sometimes too..
For now you can do it yourself by manual moving of files.
Using Mannequin Race - Type 4
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/68994?tab=files
Go to:
GAMEDATAPATH\meshes\characters\_male
Copy femaleupperbody.nif
Go to:
GAMEDATAPATH\meshes\zzraces\Mannequin Head\Body
Paste femaleupperbody.nif
Overwrite
Done

Will this work with the Robert S body?
EDIT: Just did some testing. It works. I had to move your Bodyslide files from CalienteTools to Tools in my folders, however.
Hello, I have Roberts and they work together. Not sure if they overwrite something tho, maybe references.
yes folder structure from this mod is from Skyrim with CalienteTools.
roberts is using fallout 4 which is just Tools.
edit:
just checked, no conflict of files, they are compatible, just have to move folder like you did.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the past I got the Viper preset shown in an image on this page loaded manually. All I had to do was manually install it by unpacking the preset into the folder in bodyslide. This required zero extra work and immediately I was able to build it onto the files in this mod using bodyslide. Today I discovered other mods may take some more work. Don't even ask how I managed to figure this out without any research, but eventually I found that I had to edit the file with notepad ++ to include the following: <Group name="3BA"/>
<Group name="3BBB"/>
<Group name="CBBE"/>
<Group name="CBBE Bodies"/>
ahh yes, the bane of presets and best practice.
in type cbbe you'll just need to add <Group name="CBBE"/> in the preset, since its the parent group.
preset authors and outfit authors should add groups into their presets/outfit as best practice but sadly not everyone follows (even me, i think i forgot to add race compatibility mannequin and beloved to a group)
for a dirty fix to make all sliders/presets compatible to everything:
go to CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderGroups\
make a backup and delete everything inside.
i think this solution is fine for fallout new vegas since bodyslide stuff isnt that many yet. for skyrim and fo4, there are a lot of different body with bodyslide so a group is necessary.

Revolutionary work, imo the remastered version is a huge upgrade to the old one, hopefully all the armours can be converted one day.
Btw, how did you patch the Mannequin race for this? The cbbe remastered body doesn't have patch for it yet and there's a neck seam if I just directly copy over the body. I wanted to do it myself, but I'm not sure what the problem even is, comparing remastered's head and mannequin's head, the neck vertices seem to line up perfectly, but that's the extend of my mesh knowledge. Thanks
hello, it shouldn't have a gap but there will be neck seam for shadows due to vertex normals of head.
technical, how to update vertex normals of head for remaster body (note for myself in case i forget):
load head nif on blender (will be called head)
load type cbbe remaster nif on blender
make a duplicate of head nif (will be called head2)
head2:
modifier Weld
highlight all vertex of neck edge, assign to a vertex group (group)
select 2nd row from neck edge, assign to a vertex group (group.001)
select all vertex of head, alt+N reset vector, alt+N smooth vector
modifier Data Transfer
source = typeCBBE
vertex group = group
face corner data > Custom Normals > Nearest corner of nearest face
apply
select group.001, alt+N smooth vector (repeat 10 times)
head:
modifier Data Transfer
source = head2
face corner data > Custom Normals > Topology
apply
highlight head
export obj
check Limit to = selected only
uncheck apply modifier
uncheck uv coordinates
uncheck materials export
export
outfitstudio:
file > load outfit > outfit/mesh > from file > browse > select head nif > ok
ex. meshes\zzraces\Mannequin Head\African\headfemale_african.nif
highlight femalehead shape at right panel > Shape (topbar) > check Lock Normals
femalehead still highlighted > File (topbar) > import obj > choose exported obj from blender > might need to adjust rotate x to 90 > ok
window popup Merge or New > click Yes > Vertex Position Update > click No > Normals Update > click Yes
save project
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I build an outfit after converting it via the guide under articles, I get these stretch marks on the breast area. Is there a way to fix this ?
It’s probably bone weights, if I remember correctly you had issues with breast bounce so I taught you how to delete breast.l and breast.r bones, this might’ve caused issue with normalized weights.
Type CBBE - Main no BNB patch
how its made:
open outfit studio > load the project > go to Bones tab in right panel > highlight both breast.L and breast.R bones > right click on the bone then Mask Weighted Vertices > right click again then Delete from Project > Ctrl + I (to invert mask) > click on any bone > click on Normalize Weights on right panel (should be checked) > press space to show brush options > put slider Size to max (1.00) > turn on mirror edit (Edit (on top bar) > check X Mirror) > place bursh around breast area > hold SHIFT then click once > ctrl + A to remove masks > Save
to check if the process is done correctly:
highlight bip01 spine2 in bones tab > breast area should be dark red.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also when I edit clothes the they float off of the body, how can I make it also edit the body?
that kind of issue usually happens if the .osd file of the body cant be read by bodyslide. (clothes move with slider but not the body)
all DLC outfits require the Type CBBE - Main file to also be installed.
Vanilla outfits only has 10 outfits that require Type CBBE - Main but filesize is bloated.
Try reinstalling Type CBBE - Main.
Technical:
make sure that this file is present in your bodyslide folder
CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\Type CBBE\Type CBBE.osd
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am guessing we should not have this in our load order if we use CKR (Character kit remake) for females? Or, are they somehow compatible with each other?
hello, you can use CKR for Type 4/IVMB.
install in order:
[optional] you can install bodyslide (SSE) for bodyslide presets
download NVCS Installer under MAIN FILES then install
download T4 - Main under MAIN FILES then install
download Type CBBE - Main under MAIN FILES then install
download Character Kit Remake under MAIN FILES then install
download Character Kit Remake - IVMB - T4 under OPTIONAL FILES then install
test if you see expected result in game (naked body)
download related mods for Type CBBE like outfit conversions (dont use remaster, i will make a compatibility file for CKR soon.. CKR head mesh with modified vertex normals)
for beginners:
install in order meaning "load after"
load Type CBBE - Main after T4 - Main
load Character Kit Remake after T4 - Main and Type CBBE - Main..
dont forget archive invalidation
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As in the textures do not line up with the body. I have attached a screenshot to show how the issue looks. It looks the same in-game, except without the dismemberment textures.Spoiler:Show![]()
Looks like you installed the older cbbe mod which was abandoned due to texture issues. I would suggest you remove all contents of the old cbbe mod and just install mods stated in install instruction posted in description.
once you have the game with expected results then you can install other mods related to this mod.
Remove files related to this mod
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/69949?tab=description
for advanced users:
you can install both older CBBE mod and this mod, you just have to choose outfits with 'no skin' showing since older cbbe mod includes FO3 mod which i havent converted yet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
also is there a way to convert a specific body texture from FO4? I was looking at this one.
not sure if possible or not.
for the texture question.. it’s possible but kinda hard.
match both bodies to the same pose by using the conversion reference, they must match exactly.
type cbbe, fnv head, fnv hands.
fo4 cbbe, fo4 head, fo4 hands.
Using texture bake. save the baked texture to BC3 format, diffuse, normals, glow, and specular. Save the specular inside the alpha channel of the normals file.
small edits on gimp to lighten or darken skin to match fnv atmosphere.
done
