The mod is not working when installed directly through UMM. I'm getting the same "fatal" game error. The only other mod I have installed is More Skill Points so I don't think it's a mod conflict.

I want to thank you for your great work unfortunately I have a problem
I have just install directly with Unity Mod Manager like you said but it is not working  system error.. a fatal error has occurred the game cannot continue. I tried with and without custom merch mod and tried with inside asset of custom merch  mod with always the same result game stop working. Would like very much to have that mod.
All my other mods work fine

    Thank you

Works for me using UMM together with some other mods. Maybe one of your other mods is conflicting.

Whenever I try to install it I get a message in the log saying that it's not supported, I have custom merch installed. Manually installing it doesn't work either, so as last resort I'm asking for help

kind of late to the party, but this mod isn't exactly a mod. it's a file folder containing a json file that needs to be added to the customMerch mod.

      • Open unity mod manager
      • go to the mods tab
      • select the custom merchandise mod from the list, right click, and select 'open folder'
      • open the assets folder. you should see the file: unimplemented_items.json
      • this is the folder you need to have the json file from this mod saved in
      • unzip this mod. open the customMerch folder. open the assets folder
      • grab the 'Add More Items to Shops.json' file and drag it the the other assets folder. the one containing unimplemented_items.json

that's it. start the game, and you should have all the items in the shops

I'm having the same problem. But unity won't even accept the .zip file to install it, so I can't follow your instructions! Any help would be appreciated!

Even later to this party, this mod doesn't need to install with UMM-- here's the manual way doing it explained differently:

After you install Custom Merchandise which is a prerequisite for this mod:

      Go to it's install location:
      (Steam): "C:Program Files/steam/steamapps/common/My Time At Portia/Mods/CustomMerch/assets/"
Extract "Add More Items to Shops.json" from this mod
Place "Add more Items to Shops.json" into the "CustomMerch/assets/" folder

First thing I love your mods they make the game so much more playable. I downloaded v1.2 and found that it only added some of the items. Are additional steps required?

v1.2 didn't add anything. It remove useless items that was added in previous version.
