Because it will be easier for me to update the files if needed to, and it will be easier for you to download it if you are just updating mod.
Since i lost the all resource files for this mod (except the code), i won't be updating any of the texture files, only the code, aka "main dll file".
How To Download And Install: Step1: Download main the dll file from the "Main files section". Step2: Download any of the textures file from the "Optional files section". Step3: Extract both downloaded archives to your mod folder. (Both, main and one of the optional files are required for mod to work)
If You Want Your Custom Textures: Step1: Download only the GT_InteriorCustom file(main file is included) from "Miscellaneous Files section". Step2: Extract to your mod folder. Step3: Replace the textures in Assets/GT_interior/textures with your own textures.
If you are updating the mod from the previous version, download only the main dll file.
is it possible to make it compatible with LX satsuma? specifically the GT shifter. i looked around and couldnt find how to disable texture loading for the console
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I'm trying to get the GT colors for the Dashboard mod to work. I got the texture, main game file and the DDpatch. Everything else is fine (The seats, rear seat, steering wheel, center console etc.) but the dashboard stays normal in all 3 different material types.
Any errors in the mod console? Also do you have a "SatsumaDigitalDashboard" installed? For me everything still works fine with DD mod and a patch. Maybe try delete DD mod and patch and see if only interior works.
I didn't see any errors in the console and the Digidash is already installed and works normal. Removing the DDpatch makes no visual difference, just warns that I need it at the main menu to work. The only thing that it says in the console related to Digidash and GT_interior is "When using this mod with 'Satsuma Digital Dashboard Mod' be sure to have 'Satsuma Digital Dashboard Mod' enabled in your mod settings.
It has been enabled the whole time but it could be a passive reminder. Edit: There might be a small chance that some other mod I've downloaded somehow conflicts with it even though I don't have anything dashboard related.
Yeah, that warning message is just a reminder. Did you try to temporary remove the Digidash and the DD patch to see if only interior mod works? Could also be some conflicts, maybe see if you have any other mod that changes Satsuma textures, or any other mod related to the Satsuma Dashboard other then GT interior and Digital Dashboard.
I had some texture changes but I reverted them to it's normal type (Vanilla or whatever you want to call it) and it made no difference for the dashboard. I disabled both the Digidash and the patch, textures were untouched even then for the dashboard. The rest of the interior is fine.
Edit: Could 1 of the mods (Digidash, the GT interior, or the patch) be outdated to not work? Edit 2: Removing the Digidash mod completly from the mod files made the textures show up, however if I want to play with the Digidash, there has to be something else I can do
It's not outdated since it's still works for me. Here is how my dashboard looks with GT Interior, Digital Dashboard and DD patch installed. I have a Wooden dash selected in Digital Dashboard mod settings. If your dash look like this then everything is working correctly.
I expected the dashboard to look completly different. In that case, everything is fine. Sorry for wasting your time. Also it seems like the Digidash works without the patch. No visible errors to it. What is the patch suppose to patch?
No problem, I should have post the image earlier but I've assumed that whole dashboard not working for you. The DD patch patches the Dashboard Meters Panel texture and the mesh. And since Digital Dashboard mod have custom mesh and textures for that part, Gt Interior can't work together with it at the same time. So when you have Digital Dashboard installed and the patch, the patch disables the Dashboard Meters Panel mesh and texture from my GT Interior mod in order for Digital Dashboard to work. But Dashboard texture and mesh it self is still from GT Interior mod. I hope that explains it.
