Update 11/6/2022: I have released v1.1.4.17. This is the last supported version as I will be moving the patches into my Miscellaneous Fixes mod. When it's available, go download the latest version of that mod. As such, I will not publish this mod on Steam Workshop.
Thanks to everyone who have downloaded and played with this mod.
Hello! Does enybody else have this crash when every time one rotates on characters, in the encyclopedia? And, I'm not sure if this is from this mod, because I disable and enable it and the problem still persists...! Fyi, I play with the e1.8.1 version.
Hadn't taken the time to investigate this yet, but nice to see it wasn't overly complicated. Did it have any drawbacks and break anything? If you wanted to you could integrate this into DCC but the choice is yours.
I've created a GitHub repo containing the code so you can integrate the fix (link here: https://github.com/Designer225/Hero-Encyclopedia-Entry-Fix), but I will continue maintaining this mod for those who don't use DCC. I might upload a new version with compatibility mode for DCC once the fix is integrated, though this might turn out to not be necessary considering the way transpilers work.
I'm surprised they even implemented this. I guess the issue was long-played saves have hundreds of additional heroes and having children clogging up the entries would complicate things more. :P

Is your mod compatible with the v1.6.4 patch?
Thanks!
Today, I'm not so sure.
