Adds a claim (Casus-Belli) system to Bannerlord. You and AI Kingdoms now require claims to declare wars against others. Similar to Crusader Kings III's system.

Detailed Description
A mod that introduces a claim fabrication mechanic to Bannerlord. Players and kingdoms will require fabricated claims in order to declare wars against other kingdoms.

To fabricate a claim, the player must send their companion to the target kingdom (by chatting with them) to "study it and find relevant records" that can be used as grounds for declaring war. Once the companion returns, the player can obtain the fabricated claim by paying a fee, which will result in a loss of relations with the targeted kingdom. Alternatively, if the player chooses not to pay, they will lose the claim.

Additionally, there will be a cooldown period of 3 days before the player can fabricate another claim.
For AI, it's quite similar. It takes 5-10 days to finish the claim and a 3-day cooldown to fabricate another claim, which makes wars occurring fast rarer.

Video Summary:
Go to your companion and chat with him, you'll see the option "Go forth and forge a claim on a kingdom for me.",
click it, your companion will ask you which kingdom you wish to fabricate a claim on, choose to your picking.

After that, the number of days the process will take will be in the log so you can see it later on after the
conversation. It usually ranges from (5-15) days.

After the random number of days have passed, he will go in a conversation with you. To gain the claim you must pay a fee.
If you pay the fee, you gain the claim but lose relation with the target kingdom's leader (ranging from 3-9 relation loss)
and if you do not pay the fee, you lose the claim.

After that you must wait 3 days to fabricate another claim.

  • More Options for diplomacy with war with a kingdom if you’re king:
    • Force Demands (gain the settlements / lose relations and gain renown)
    • White Peace (don’t need to pay no tribute ez / gain renown)
    • Surrender (loss of renown / force peace / pay tribute)
  • Clan Rivalry:
    • Clans can have rivals in which they will battle each other to gain fiefs.
    • Player can declare wars on other clans within your kingdom if you’re a vassal.
  • Better claim fabrication system:
    • Pick settlements/fiefs to claim using scene map, somehow.
    • Pick one of your companions.
    • Uses companion skills for days and success of operation.
  • Gain claims by rightful land/dejure/counties.
  • Revamp proposal buttons.
  • Reveal counties (clan ownership of fiefs) and borders between kingdoms. (Quite impossible)
  • Claims list UI.
