What does the Equipment Upgrader do?
Upon pressing the "Upgrade" button on the inventory screen, the Upgrader checks if there is any better alternative item for any equipped weapon, horse, or armor slot for each hero character, and equips the best one it finds.
How does it decide which items are better?
Every equipment item has a hidden "Effectiveness" score, that is used for simulated battles. The available item with the highest Effectiveness for a given equipped item of a certain class, i.e. bow, one-handed, gloves, etc. gets selected.
Installation
Simply unpack the archive to your Modules directory and activate the module in your launcher.

- upgrading civilian loadouts
- upgrading from inventory, loot, stash, and/or discarded items
- preserving weapon class upon upgrade (e.g. maces won't be upgraded with swords)
- blocking upgrades for crafted weapons
