I've noticed that only some of the cities & villages in this mod spawn Roman troops. It's probably around 40% that have them. I'm using the Calradia Expanded mod, though. Would that change anything? Do all the cities & villages have to be added manually to the list of locations where they will be spawned?
Edit: Northern & Southern empire are able to spawn units for me just fine, but the western empire has all the default units.
I'm having the same issue, but I would say even more severe. there are only like 1 or two villiages that have ERE troops available. I can get the units via cheat menus but I would really rather not. I hope the mod author comments, he seem really helpful but I have tried everything he has suggested and nothing workds so far
I've realized as a true Bannerlord full damage player that I cannot go further than tier 5 and in some cases tier 4 if I want it to be evened out. The elite cataphract of the imperials has 200 riding and around 260 polearm. The rank 6 troops in the mod well exceed these stats. This is also for most of the other troops. This is however, an amazing mod and I love the work. If I was able to drop the numbers I would feel better about using the mod as much of the higher tier look awesome. Thank you for your work!
Good update! but... I doubt the new troop Martiarius is a typo. I don't sure but..., did you mean "Matararius"? Matara, or Mataris, etc. is a kind of Gallic javelin)
I see. I'm also amature at both language and history. I just need to know how to translate this word. Now I found a period source that says "Matiarii Iuniores" or "Martiarii" so I don't intend to pursue that
Thanks. Now I published the translation and transliteration files with more radical Latinization (e.g., '(Sword)' to 'Gladiator', '(Spear)' to 'Hastatus' )
I'm just an amateur modder, I cannot do much other than custom troop tree.
But sure I will try my best, perhaps in the future integrating new line of skirmishers as the vanilla Imperial army tree does not have dedicated throwing specialists.
For now I have dispatched a small update, Bannerlord is pretty slow in terms of regular big updates so I'm only playing every now and then.
How do i make the troops recruit-able only by the player? I'd like to make my own custom troop tree that only i and my companions can use, like you did with this mod. I'd like to take an existing troop tree mod, but make it so its only use-able by the player and players companions.
