1.8 Update - Let me know if I duplicated a tag so I can fix the files but to fix yourself if there is one take not of any error when game fails to start it will tell you why if it's a duplicate tag note where and what line and delete the tag. (I might of missed on in the skim through but hopefully I didn't) Just whipped this up quickly after seeing a comment about the update and I think the original mod author is making things more tedious on purpose Civilian="false" tags you got to be kidding me, but I love his work and hope people continue modding and enjoying the game so next time I decide to give it another shot I have more to do. Plus thank you to those who endorsed and hopefully enjoy these edits for whatever your reason.

These are just the Armor XML files, you still need the original mod and simply replace the XMLs of that one with one of these.

For anyone that doesn't know what XMLs are they are pretty much note documents openable within text editors like notepad, notepad ++, word etc. and contain item information and tags that the game reads and puts into effect. The Hard work on these files is credited to DizzySoldier the original creator of the mod all I have done is edit the stats and add tags to the original files. This mod is just extra options for the original mod for those who don't wish to edit the files themselves or want some of the more tedious work done for them so they can fine tune things to their preference.

These Files Work in 1.7.0 and 1.7.1. I don't play 1.7.2 so I'm not certain If these files would work with 7.2, If DIzzySoldier's XML format is the same for both versions (which I think it is) then this mod will probably work though you will have to remove the arm_armor.xml from my version of the files as 1.7.2 breaks when more than 7 hand armors exist.

Obviously only download one of my Replacements, pick the one that suits your preference/Mod choices. If it breaks I can probably fix it and any balancing can be done by yourself to fit your Bannerlord preferences. Currently the RBM version is on par with most of the Armor changes in Realistic Battle Mod but I might make a version where the 'Sneaky' versions of helmets are stronger just so I can use them throughout my campaign without the fear of getting domed.

Update to be Clearer :

  • First you must download Calradia Rising Forces Armory 1.7.1 (1.7.2 might work if you delete my arm_armor.xml)
  • The files inside this Mod are only replacement XML files.
  • to install you need to place the files from either of these mods (pick one) within the Module Data file of Calradia Rising Forces Armory.

  • I use steam and Manually install all Mods so my Module path looks like this -
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\CalradiaRisingArmory\ModuleData

  • Inside the Above file Replace all 5 XML files with your selected download from this page.
  • If you use Vortex to install your modules I believe you simply right click Calradia Rising Forces Armory and browse local files and the Module data file will be there (Not 100% certain haven't used Vortex in years)

Currently there's three choices:

-Civilian = Base game stats with all the Armor tagged as civilian so you can wear it in towns/halls etc.
-RBM = Realistic battle mod version with all the stats adjusted to fight the combat module
-RBM with Civilian  = Combo of both RBM stats as well as all the Armor tagged as Civilian.

I personally like all my Armor mods to be wearable at all times for screenshots or Roleplaying purposes so I made these for myself and posted links to shared files on the original mods page but the author said I could do whatever so I uploaded them to Nexus as more people are probably more likely to check the New mods page over comments on another mod.
