    Hi,

Sorry I am very new to this. Where is the NPCCharacters.xml file that we convert from?

The closest one I found was "spnpccharacters.xml" under "Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\SandBoxCore\ModuleData" but it gave me a "Length cannot be less than zero" error.

This looks like it will be very helpful

does this just replace the male with female ones? or add a female version aswell?

+1, a bit of a tutorial on how exactly this works and what the results are would be nice before I start messing with my game files.
I'd prefer not to just have every unit suddenly be all-female.

Also hi Nicole, fancy seeing you here as well.

Since the Mixed Gendr troops mod is no longer continued, any idea which XML should I treat with this for a similiar result? The npc one in sanbox core, or th body properties one? or something else?

What does it mean that Error: length can't be less than zero?

It means that the program couldnt read the xml file you provided. It should give you a stack trace with a line number, that line is where the code broke and can help me track down the bug. Also keep in mind that error will occur if your xml has anything other than NPCCharacter ids in it, which it shouldnt but I've seen some really poorly put together mods before.

Any chance of simple instructions for us newbies?

A step-by-step tutorial would come in handy. But I can see how this is much better than editing everything by hand!

All you do is select the NPCCharacters xml via the browse button and click the convert button, the program handles the rest

100% I would not download this.   This is a brand new upload by a user with no other uploads.  It MAY be safe, but it is SUPER stupidly suspicious to upload the exe?

To NanuFriggen ..  why not generate the XML for the common soldiers and upload those files to be replaced?

Because this is a modders tool for custom troop trees, its not meant for the vanilla soldiers. A lot of users used overhauled troop trees instead of the basic units, and this tool allows both modders and users to generate female variants of their custom soldiers. The reason the mod was flagged as suspicious is because its an exe. Exes are always flagged as suspicious because more often than not an exe download is a virus. I can tell you that this isnt a virus, its just a simple program that copies and makes a few changes to whatever xml file you feed it, but i understand the suspicion

Also you might have a look at the little green button under the picture band, rightmost.
If it were still flagged unsafe, the button would not be as green as it is.
You don't need to rely on the modder's word. Nexus gets behind that as well.
I have seen other mods where that was not the case.

This mod converts all men in the army into women? Or is there a certain probability of producing female units? Or is there an additional female unit?

This mod only makes the xmls for female variants, to get them in game, you'll need to add a troop changer mod like ATC or Troop Replacement Framework, or add them into partyTemplates.xml.

The reason for this tool is that making female variants is tedious and time consuming, this tool does it in less than a second.

Huh? The moderator say this file is completely unsafe.

That was an automatic response by the site upon uploading an exe. I have contacted Nexus mods support and they have scanned they file and determined it safe.

I guess this can be useful for people like me if I wanna go overboard on creating new troop tree.
