We desperately need this mod to be updated. I deliberately drop my companion parties where I want them to stay, put them on Defensive and they all end up going all over the damned map. I've tried that command faction parties, but you can't tell them to patrol, just to follow you, just put them in your army. That mod doesn't do anything either.
Using this on 1.65 Problems I've encountered. 1- Even though I've removed all but calvary from their approved recruitment list, they still recruit a few ground troops here and there.
2- The patrol function is broken and behaves more like the roam function. I just don't use it.
3- Although the timing may be coincidental, after taking over my heir, I couldn't recruit anything but calvary although my relationship level should have allowed it. I believe it is because the previous recruitment list for my npc heir carried over to my new playable character. The fix was to unload the mod, save a new game without the mod, then reload the mod. Seems fixed.
4- Giving orders to the last companion in your army that requires them to leave your army will cause them to go a little distance, abandon your orders and return to form a new army with you.
Solution: Simply disband the army and issue the orders afterward. This only occurs with the last group in your army.
Also want to add that the composition editor is not functioning as intended in 1.5.10. Theres a list greater than whats in the party and what i selected in the first page on the second page of the editor and they are all stuck at 1 and dont change when i increase or decrease the value. The party then goes around recruiting anything and everything it finds.
Haven't used it yet, but looks to be very similar to this one. Let's give it a try. Still hoping this mod is updated, but until that day comes we have some hope.
Should this be crashing in 1.6.0? Gonna try moving some other mods around to see but as of now its just crashing on campaign load both new and from save (not launch)
