FOR ANYONE EXPERIENCING WAR ISSUES OR LACK THERE OF WATCH THE VIDEO I HAVE TITLE WAR DECLARATIONS. THIS WILL EXPLAIN A LOT AND SHOW THAT THIS MOD DOES NOT HAVE THAT ISSUE AND IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING THIS ISSUE ITS MORE OR LIKELY A DIRECT CAUSE OF OTHER MOD EFFECTS. THANK YOU.
There are still some balancing issues to be done it seems. May remove a few clans from some of the stronger kingdoms, and reduce some clan tiers to balance it out in the future. Will probably be next update when it happens! But that won't be for a bit so enjoy it for now! Some kingdoms seem to be a bit weaker and get ran over but it does create a more interesting early-mid game experience! Also more armies and larger armies at that! Will be constantly updating this mod so shoot me any ideas or feedback you have!
This mod is Compatible with Custom Spawns guys. Unfortunately with the most recent custom spawns update Calradia Expanded is not compatible with custom spawns. Once this is fixed this mod will once again be compatible!
Guys please follow installation instructions. I have tested this on 1.5.6. I know it works. If you have other mods on that effect the same settlements this may not work with it. And so on.
So, for whatever reason, some of the XML files have improper formatting. The obvious error in what pops up first is that there's a random address at the beginning of the file for some reason. Simply opening the XML in notepad and deleting that address fixes the issue. However...
Just about every file in the NewTroops folder has other formatting issues, like improperly closed brackets, improperly ordered elements, etc. They're simple to fix even on your own, just tedious. 99% of the fixes for me involved moving the "<upgrade_targets>" sections to between "skills" and "equipment", and making sure that the "<EquipmentRoster />" tags were changed to "<EquipmentRoster>" and then properly closed out with </EquipmentRoster>". Then the final Zenith Cult mounted variant had redundant mount equipment that needed to be deleted.
Worked for me after that.
If you go to the SandBoxCore folder, the "spnpccharacters" XML file is a good place to find references for how the game wants the modded files to look.
i dont undestand what is to be correct and where. Btw i have the same issue Error: The element 'items' cannot contain text. List of possible elements expected: 'item, CraftedItem'. Node: Value:

This mod does not seem to want to work no matter what I do. I'm using 1.64 and all the required mods. Loading up causes crash. The game will start with everything but this mod enabled.
i am not so sure if this mod is working properly. I started a new game and it seems though there are additional castles added onto the game but only the original kingdoms are visible. Also, i noticed that someone mentioned about this game not having "forest bandit" and etc. But I can confirm that that is not true. I see the forest bandits.
i am currently using 1.5.9 and have those required mods that was listed.

Good luck!
Unfortunately, it appears to still be broken on 1.6.4
