All calculations are carefully handcrafted to make them worth what they are really worth.

HV's (Price Balance) - (Slow) Horses

2 ways to mod horses
--> 8 versions


1) Slow Horses

Speed and Maneuver of every mount reduced by 10 or 15

Thought to be used with HV's Vanilla Horse Armor With Boni
  • ...which increases speed or maneurability up to 15, so use what ever version you would like! (I choose Slow Horses 10)


2) Price Balance

Carefully balances the prices of horses
This is dependend on:

  • Charge damage
  • Speed and maneuver 
  • Hit Points

  • Prizes are balanced to fit into my price balance mods
  • They are more expensive! But I like it that way. I mean we are talking about horses.

  • Problem: cavalry troops needs horses to upgrade
  • sollution:
  • disable the need for horses on upgrade
  • make 2 horses as cheap as vanilla, define them as "horse" and "war_horse", make them appear often and set difficulty to 300 so that the player and companions cant use them
  • add 2 horses that do the things point 2 says
...since I cant figure out how to make my created horses appear in shops, I made a version with sollution 2. (Any help appreciated!)

Details
  • Value = Charge Factor * Speed And Maneuver Factor * Hit Point Factor

Charge Factor
  • Charge Factor = (Charge damage + 40)³ x 0.000025
  • steady incline to make the important charge damage stat matter in the middle price category



Speed And Maneuver Factor
  • Speed And Maneuver Factor = ((Spd. And Mnvr. - 50)³ x 0,0000075) +1
if  Speed + Maneuver <73 then Speed And Maneuver Factor = 1
(non rideable horses wont be cheaper than the slowest horse)


Hit Point Factor
  • Hit Point Factor = ((Hit Points / 100)³ x 0.23) +1 
if  Hit Points <73 then Hit Point Factor = 1.13
(non rideable horses wont be cheaper than the slowest horse)

  • Price Balance - Horses only defines id, name, weight, difficulty, and value!
  • Yes, other mods (or you) can still change: mesh,  item_category,  culture, is_merchandise,  appearance,  Type,  body_length,  is_mountable,  modifier_group,  affected_by_cover,  Material name  and  mesh_multiplier
  • Slow Horses defines more
  • Save to uninstall whenever you want
  • Should be compatible with every other mod out there that doesn't change id, name, weight, difficulty, and value of horses
