This mod is working correctly on version 1.5.9 of the game.
I use this mod myself and I have never had a post battle crash except for the time I received an "Out of Memory" error. That error was not caused by my mod but a memory leak in bannerlord. I am beginning to suspect that the crashes some users have in this mod may be memory related.
IF YOU HAVE A CRASH POST BATTLE WITH THIS MOD, PLEASE POST A STACK TRACE HERE!
There is a mod on the nexus called Better Exception Window. It will give you the error message and the full stack trace for the error. Please post the output from Better Exception Window here and I will be able to see what the cause is.
I suspect that the amount of loot being generated may be creating a structure large enough to cause out of memory errors. It is only a theory based on the one crash I had myself. Also tell me how much RAM you have and how long you played the game before it crashed post battle.
I seem to get one or two reports of crashes each version of the game, but most of us using this mod don't seem to have the same problem. It's hard to diagnose an error that I can't readily reproduce.
This mod looks abandoned. I can recommand LootEveryone it does pretty the same + it has some setting possibilitys https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/535. I replaced Better looting with it today and it works fine for me
These are completely different mods. Considering that I used Better Looting Reduced. And LootEveryone is completely out of balance for the economy of the game, in addition, prices flew with it after the restart of the game.
I have noticed the same as you they are different but this one does not update. And the vanilla mode is meaningless garbage. What I did was to install the Make Everything cheaper mod. And LootEveryone
I did this, but it still breaks the economy of the game too much, so I gave it up. So I only left Make Everything. And I hope that the author will update the mod.
I confirm that you are right. I tried to adjust it in the options and it worked quite acceptable but then I noticed that it had a bug and gave me a lot of the game inventory stuff that didn't even have the defeated enemies and it not only broke the economy but it broke the game and I had to go back to a previous game. Definitely have to wait for this mod
