We changed the archive format from .zip to .7z, now when extracting you won't have the .dll unlock problem! To extract the archive, download 7-zip. DO NOT USE ANYTHING FROM THE WINDOWS APP STORE.
The CAUTION screen that you get when you launch the game with mods should be ignored! It gives misleading info!
The game developers assume that we target specific dependency versions in our mods (like, we require Harmony 2.0.2 SPECIFICALLY), but in reality, the standard practice is to declare the minimum supported dependency version for a mod (like, we require Harmony 2.0.2 or NEWER). Because the game developers do not follow this practice, you get this CAUTION screen that gives you misleading information. Do not follow it's recommendation and do not downgrade dependency versions!
All BUTR mods (UIExtenderEx, ButterLib, MCM) report their dependencies as minimal requirements. So if something depends on Harmony 2.0.2, for example, you can use both Harmony 2.1.x and Harmony 2.2.x and further!
We released BUTRLoader - a new native launcher extension that works like Fixed Launcher, but that does not cause any Harmony related issues! It will automatically sort correctly mods that support our DependedModuleMetadatas xml tag that UIExtenderEx, ButterLib and MCM uses!
The initial release only fixes mod load order related issues, but we plan on extending it functionality!
I have the gamepass version of bannerlord, some mods like uiextenderex and butterlib don't show up in the modlist in the launcher, I have them in the modules folder and the .dll is unblocked, what do I do?
Bump, this has been happening with my current campaign as well. It was working fine for all these other sieges so far, but my most recent one (Vostrum), no matter how many times I reload, same crash happens at the end of the siege
A quick fix i found was to leave the siege and come back to it later after an action (fight a battle elsewhere, hunt a bandit nearby). Then it seems like it fixes the issue of crashing after the siege for some reason

For those having crashes when entering the character screen it may be linked to having a character younger than 20. No idea what's causing this but if this is a UIExtender issue is there a possibility this could be fixed?

I didnt have this issue before, and after i tried re-arranging my load order and even removing YKWYK the crash still persists. I think it may be an issue from this mods end. Any advice would help, thanks. https://report.butr.link/546D91
Hello, Same here, crashing since the bannerlord mini update from last week (no problem prior to that), uiextenderEx is the mod causing the crash per the report, and for me it happens specifically when i try to open the screen to recruit from town or villages...
Do a clean reinstall of the game and make sure you're using the correct BLSE launcher with the butrloader, since that solves a lot of mod issues Old saves/settings were bugging with my game and for some reason it was pointing this mod out as the reason... I've only had the kidnapped daughter crash since then ( DONT TAKE THAT QUEST )
