Re-balanced unit points for greater equity between factions.  More details are included in the excel file included with the mod.
  • Tier 1 / Level 6 units - 90 points  (135 for minor factions)
  • Tier 2 / Level 11 units - 195 points
  • Tier 3 / Level 16 units - 360 points
  • Tier 4 / Level 21 units - 525 points
  • Tier 5 / Level 26 units - 690 points
  • Tier 6 / Level 31 units - 915 points
These tweaks had the greatest impact for the Aserai, Battanians, and the minor factions.

Equipment & other non-attribute changes:
  • Aserai Mameluke Regular - set to Cavalry type.
  • Aserai Youth - set to Cavalry type.
  • Battanian Fian - given 2h swords rather than 1h (this is fixed in BETA 1.41).
  • Battanian Fian Champion - given 2h swords rather than 1h (this is fixed in BETA 1.41).
  • Sturgian Horse Raider - one variant had a set of tier 2 rather than tier 4.
  • Vlandian Levy Crossbowman - set to Ranged type.

Jawwal have different equipment to reflect their intended theme, primarily robes and face-covering helms.
Galloglass (Skene, Kern, Redshank) are changed to 2h and thrown weapons, representative of the Galloglass theme.
Legion of the Betrayed are given generally more consistent armor types and shields to give them more of a late Roman Empire feel.
Company of the Boar had a chance of having variants armed with spears.

I also fixed the skill template for units that have them, although most units in the game do not have them set.  In some cases melee units had ranged templates or vice versa.

This mod was inspired by the Distinctive and Authentic Troops mod.

Planned changes:
  • Adding chances of shields to Tier 2 units that do not have them (addressed in BETA 1.41).
  • Adjusting some equipment on higher tier units to increase survival (in some cases high tier units have poor armor, and since skills that add more HP are not apparently in place, this can make them a bit too squishy).
  • Adjusting some equipment for a more consistent feel across units of the same faction.
