My little experiment with what's achievable just by .XML file edits, turns out to be pretty fun (and unbalanced).
- Permissions and credits
The mod adds troop tree branches to the tier 2 units of imperial regular troops. Imperial infantrymen can be upgraded to a fire grenade skirmishers tree while imperial archers can be upgraded to a fire archer aka rocketeer tree. Their ammunitions have not only burning visual effects but also AOE explosion damage so they are kinda op when stacked together. The AOE damage also increased their possibility of killing friendly units so beware where to place them.

How to acquire:
1. Train them through regular troop upgrades
2. Use console command:
Troop ID:
Fire Arrow / Rocket Line:
Imperial Arsonist: imperial_arsonist
Imperial Fire Archer: imperial_fire_archer
Imperial Veteran Fire Archer: imperial_veteran_fire_archer
Imperial Rocketeer: imperial_rocketeer
Grenadier Line:
Imperial Fire Skirmisher: imperial_fire_skirmisher
Imperial Novice Grenadier: imperial_novice_grenadier
Imperial Panzergrenadier: imperial_panzergrenadier
The new rocket/grenade items can be acquired through opening inventory in cheat mode but shouldn't be purchasable in markets.
Installation is simple: drop the "FireTroops" folder in your steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules folder and load it in your launcher.
