** Unfortunately i will no longer have time to update this mod due to family matters. That beeing said, i don't see any reason this mod should stop working with future updates, but there may be balancing issues. Either way, for the moment i won't be continuing working on this mod or fix any issues should they occur.

Just use they're encyclopedia name with _new behind. Example: "vlandian_spearman_new", "imperial_triarii_new", "northern_raider_new", "einherjar_new" etc.... (There are a couple of units who has the wrong unit id, f.eks: vlandian_levy_crossbowman_new = Vlandian Levy Longbowman ingame). But if i change that now it will breake peoples saves.
** If you use the replacement file only you have to add troops by using the original unit_id.

Mainline v.1.4.1 & Beta 1.4.2 compatible! Big thanks to BenjiG91 for allowing me to incorporate hes hallow plate armor into this mod. Give that guy some endorsment for adding new armor to the game. ** Overhaul of the mercenaries - Was a challenge to find something unique wich would seperate them from the factions and still look good, i gave it my best shot. - Looters also level into the new mercenaries. - Lower skills than high tier faction troops, but better equippet than previous mercenaries. - Fixed the correct unit type (Crossbowmen no longer set as infantry)
** Overhaul of Sturgian Noble Troop Tree - Added more slavic troops to Sturgian noble tree. Initially wanted to add them to the main troop tree, but that would have flooded the encyclopedia. - Rus medieval troops had horse archers, atleast late period. So found it plausable to add that. - Northern Brigand replaced by Mounted Brigand. The Brigand is still in the game tho, to avoid breaking peoples saves. - Changed some shields types on certain units.
** Expanded Vlandian troop tree - Added extra tier of Crossbowman and Longbowman so they have full tier troop tree. - Vlandian Landsknecht added. - Changed some shields.
** Added extra cavalry to the Empire - Foederatus & Veteran Foederatus added so Empire now have melee cavalry in they're main troop tree like the rest of the factions. - Changed shields on Veteran Infantryman and Legionary

Since the Mubarizun armor is superior to the Aserai Veteran Infantry theyre skill is abit nerfed, else it would be no reason to level up to Veteran Infantry. - 2 more infantry added to the Khuzait. - Added spear to Northern Vikingr. - Changed imperial names to correct singular. - V.1.3B: Minor armor change on Mubarizun & Kheshig as i somehow missed the awesome fortified lamellar.

Optional module files for each seperate factions if you want to combine with other troop mods If you're allready using all factions module in your save game, you can not switch to one factions only module on your current save.
I am on e1.5.8.264172 and it doesn't look like it's working. I can't attach an image, but all characters are now shown as giant babies and all the unit cards are blank, pretty funny actually.
Is this still working? I'm not running many mods, so nothing should be conflicting with this.
Save-mods.rar - 5.3 MB ?t was really nice to seeing new cavs. at this mod, ? played this pretyy well but suddenly it gives chrashes. The point is ( you can see at my mod list) ? used custom spawns (clean API), ?n this game dind use it but still there are 2 type of new cultures and kingdoms come out. Even that it worked until today. I hope u can hear me and check this Thanks
I'm afraid i can't be of much help. I would asume there is a mod conflict and something else, either on it's own or in conflict with my mod, who crashes your game.
Yo dude! The changes this mod makes are fantastic and it's become a must have for me. One question though, is it possible to add a set of javelins to the Imperial Tirarius unit that you add in? I'm an empire faction unit fan and love the infantry with javelins concept and get a bit bummed when I max out the troop line and lose the javelins :( or is it something I can adjust in the mod files to suit my own preference? I wouldn't mind putting in the effort adding them myself for my playthrough if it's possible, though I'm not sure if it actually is xD

Is it possible to get a 1.6 version of the oval battanian shields? I'd like to play without the plate armour and without the new Battanian shields.
