    why is this warband mod in original mount and blade section? you see the other one before going into this one...

    ok im gunna pitch some ideas

    (sorry about the wall I've got a lot of ideas floating around)

    Hunting and more wildlife like birds, fishing, various animals and with a fantasy setting like MB 1 you could get creative! perhaps some mythological beasts that are hard to track and custom armours you can make from said mythological pelts. xD
    I was also thinking pets would be cool that you could have in the horse slot for us on foot players like a dog, wolf or tiger, or even a human (although with all the companions and mercs that would be a bit of aboring if you ask me) but if you expanded the wildlife, taming and pet ownership would be something to bear in mind. You could even make some unique armour and weapons specificity for your animal pets to make them on par with a companion and they could follow your commands! It would probably be easier to just implement them as companions than in the horse slot I just know its where an animal already usually is so thats what made me think of it being there.
    some sort of hunters guild too maybe or a tiny peaceful neutral faction of hunters similar to man hunters but they prioritise buffalo or something!
    if you went down a hunting route with various things being able to have their pelt, meat and entrails harvested perhaps you could even go dark and allow human flesh to be collected at a hefty renown cost. but perhaps a shady person might trade it for evil gear or something. or craft the bones and flesh into grotesque monstrosities. XD hahaha

    i also like non combat stuff to do. perhaps you could work as a trade caravan for a lord and become that unit for a weekly sallery? similar to a mercenary conract with a lot less reknown gain wher you have to run regular shipments to and from a particular hold.
    become a miner?
    work on a farm? (could basicly just make it a wait thing like training the farmers in a village then every now and then you get in a fight with a co worker or bandits or wolves show up... ?) maybe having higher skill levels in skills that seem like they'd be helpful to a job your doing could apply a bonus to money earned?
    you could use a similar formula for working as a bartender or in one of the shops, as a cleaner, builder for constructions happening at towns and villages, as a messenger or any of the roles you would hire someone for as a fief owner, maybe even as a mayor if you have enough renown? maybe have a popup every now and then with text events that don t require beating things up just to give a feel of working life events.
    maybe add ports that are towns that have access to land and sea but they have trade cogs instead of or as well as caravans and they only operate at sea. maybe you could have a little quest where you help set them up with cash to get it started so you build em up and can make some easy income later after serious investment. could also have fishing boats too (foragers). maybe even be the captain of one of a cog or fishing vessel yourself like i suggested above with the trade caravan. you could also use forager as a job contract if you like that idea.

    seeing mercenary armies roaming about that you could pay and they would follow and protect you similar to a vassal's army. a few different sized ones for different play stiles some might prefur more faster ones for the nimble trader. but for the warmonger they may want as many big armies as possible to help deal with the lords of a hostile force in a war. they shouldnt be as powerful but it would deffinately be a nice safety net for an invasion force and perhaps you could transfer troops from them and sack the army as a kind of end game merc source? (might wanna have a required renown for their use just so low level players dont have access to a concentrated merc supply) perhaps some new defences for towns like oil deployment on a siege wooden spikes around the perimiter to cause harm and make the use of seige ladders much more difficult, forcing the use of towers or explosives? maybe you could add a balist or trebuche that acts as explosives with on a wall or you could try to aim it at their food stores if you want to reduce their length of time to last without supplies? or you could use it to aim for the lords tower or fortress to help cause panic and hasten surrender. but such accuracy would require a good scout or spy to slip in and pinpoint the targets. either that or have been there yourself recently enough to know the lay out yourself.

    being an assassin or bandit as a job could be cool too. if you brought ships into the picture you could add piracy too XD

    One thing i hate in some games are useless items and although a lot of the goods have worth as trading stuffs. i feel that since they are often used for making something being able to craft weapons with iron, bread with flower (why isnt clean water a resource?) and maybe adding some more goods to add more metals and ingrediants for crafting your own food and gear with perhaps better stats than the mass produced dreck you see at the market, maybe even make the moral and quantity random with a slowly decreasing range as you do it more. so when you start you might get lucky but the chance is low of having high morale or quantity but then later being able to craft stuff that makes you regret shoping in the market! XD
    being able to open a market stall and sell items for a higher brofit. you could even be in the town space for some customer interactions XD
