*Install Tip: If you have some NPC's that are oddly placedbefore you install this mod you will likely need to: Save game -> Disable affected mods in load order -> Load game (press continue/yes) -> Save that game -> Reenable mods -> Load that save
is there any way to reduce NPCs sitting/standing in the same place and clipping through each other? like for instance in the gnisis temple there's two guys praying in the exact same spot, or in arrille's tradehouse there's two guys sitting at the same barstool
Thanks for your question: First this mod is for sitting animations only,
That said I have the 3 mods, MCA, Repop, and Animated Morrowind all installed without this trouble of prayer's duplicating in Gnisis, Temple.
So, I might be able to help resolve your issue.
Are you using a mod loader like MO2. Try this placement for the mods 1- MCA 2- Animated Morrowind 3 - Repopulated Morrowind
*Another tip, make a save -> then disable mods -> then load (press yes) -> then save that game -> renable mods -> load that save // This will likely fix any duplications that may have carried over.
I tried your suggestions but nothing changed. thanks for trying to help though. since both NPCs are from animated morrowind, it could be that I installed something in the wrong order, I'm not sure. I do everything manually so no installers. one's called "AM_PrayerDM1" and the other "AM_PrayerDM2" and they both sit right in front of the ash mask
I'll try investigating it a bit more myself, I know this isn't really in the scope of your mod
Most likely, this will be caused by conflicting mod files. So, two mods will be calling for a prayer NPC to be spawned there.
You can look for the conflicting ESP file that is calling for the additional NPC, but removing it would also disable that mod.
I recommend switching to MO2 as this will make it easier for you to diagnose. Also, MO2 will prevent duplicates in most cases as it loads only files from one mod.
Here is a video on YT showing the process for installing MO2 with OpenMW highly recommend; it should only take you half an hour to reinstall all mods. Check out my attached image to this mod because I have over 50 mods installed with no issues of duplicate NPC's
Seems to have done no fixes on my end. Still had floating/sunken NPCs. It seemed to stop them from standing idle then sitting down after 30 seconds though, in favor for the floating/sunken NPCs issues to come back. The files are from 2009 as-well which seems out of the ordinary if these were recently modified files meant for OpenMW.
I am using it with Animated Morrowind instead of MCA since MCA is unbalanced. The location does not matter since it happens to all the sitting NPCs such as Hla Oad and Seyda Neen.
I have tried the various Animated Morrowind patches, none work. But I see what you mean now, this is strictly for MCA. These meshes are all linked so I assumed it could help with the issue with Animated Morrowind since my attempts to modify the plugin did not work.
Thanks for this! I know some users have asked about something in the same vein for Immersive Morrowind, which uses the Archmaestro Antares 'bandit.nif' animation. Any plans to update that would be most welcome!
Hi any chance you can tell me what problem you have had with Immersive Morrowind. Is it a problem with compatibility with other mods or just a issue with the bandits of that mod?

NOTE: Please create a backup of game save
Unzip to a convenient location
(Optional) Make a copy of folder "AM" found in your mod install location -> Meshes\AM
1. Drag (copy) the file in this Patch folder titled "Meshes" to your install location for your compatible animation mod.
2. If you get a notification asking if you want to replace 7 files with same name with the new ones -> Select Replace Files
3. You now have the animation compatibility patch (OpenMW Patch) installed.
------
Launch the game through your Mod launcher / OpenMW
------
Provides animation compatibility for MCA + Repopulated Morrowind + Animated Morrowind
*OpenMW MCA Patch required

Please confirm you have MCA, OpenMW Patch & this patch installed -and which animation mod you are testing this patch with eg: repopulated morrowind.
This mod does not fix any problems found in Animated Morrowind alone. You will have to report that bug there.
If you want to try the setup that will give the outcome shown in this mod's images then please follow the install directions.
