I appreciate the fixes, however, this patch seems to break courtesans "interactions".

The script that moves them from their usual place to the bed softlocks the game by completely removing player controls and forcing non-stop fade outs + fade ins. It also doesn't remove their clothes, as it should. The scripts in question is mca_courtesan_move_f and mca_courtesan_move_m, i compared them to the original, and it seems like there was a bit of a typo.

The script works fine with un-patched ESM, i have no idea what happened that it broke in the process. Im not sure its in your scope \ plans to fix such things, but i'd appreciate if you did.

Also, i noticed that ALOT of NPCs, including those courtesans, just don't spawn. Balmora is almost entirely filled with rogues and barely anyone else, and the only courtesan tha spawn was in Sadrith Mora. Im not sure if thats working as intended, or something broke. I tried checking several places that were mentioned in the courtesan script, and they were filled with rogues exclusively.

Thanks, guess i'll be waiting for the update, then.

Kinda hate that i had to be the guy who discovered it, hornyjail softlock is not something i've expected from morrowind lmao.

If you happen to be using Nordic Dagon Fel, load it AFTER your Morrowind Comes Alive folder in Data Directories, otherwise you'll get some floaters at The End of the World.

Nevermind, on save and reload they continue to float upwards. If Nordic Dagon Fel is removed from the list they work as intended again. A bit of a shame as that mod really elevates the region.

Thanks for your post and letting people know. I will add it as a conflict.

If it is using the "AM" animations you can try my new animation patch. Linked in the sticky post.

      Found the issue!
Seems to be the Nordic Dagon Fel replaces the seats the sitters are meant to sit on, moving it higher up in the load order so Animated Morrowind is beneath it, seems to make the floaters sit! Now I can have Nordic Dagon Fel AND sitters at the bar for extra immersion haha.

      Excellent troubleshooting.

So is this Animated Morrowind + Nordic Dagon Fel? If so you should let people know on those forums too!

Also, thanks for endorsing the mod, glad you liked it!

Noticing some occasional floaters, encountered a knight in Suran that floated and fixed upon quicksave. Meanwhile there was a sitter at the bar in Suran that wasn't sitting on the stool but rather 'in' it.

      Thank you for your post.

I will look into this, are you using OpenMW or vanilla engine?

It seems that a few things were either not placed well in vanilla by the original mod or carried over to the OpenMW engine and caused the issue there.

Could help to note that I'm using BCoM and White Suran?

I was able to replicate the issue and have now implemented a fix.

Let me know if you have any problems, try disabling those 2 mods first to confirm no conflict.

Aha, after a lot of hard work (sleeping and waking up thinking 'what's affecting sitting animations?') the culprit was taitechnic's sitting animation fix for OpenMW: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/54782?tab=files
Morrowind Comes Alive should be placed beneath it in the 'Data Directories' section of OpenMW to ensure that sitters are where they need to be.
And can confirm, so far all seems to be COMPATIBLE with BCoM, which was my main worry! So far so good, will keep reporting 'issues' but so far this is amazing work and I appreciate your effort and quick updates!

Glad to hear it, I haven't tried that mod so I will look at it if I get chance.

I plan to release a minor update today which will further improve these minor animation bugs. From my testing these animations that were ported from vanilla can be sensitive in OpenMW engine.

      Thank you for your question.

The short answer is yes. This database file will work with the Vanilla Morrowind engine when replacing the original MCA.esm file from Morrowind Comes Alive

Please make sure you download the latest version of the database from my mod page.
