am i doing something wrong or is stuff currently broken? tons of pop in random distant objects like the ship in seyda neen, sometimes the two other ships go wonky and transparent. using the immersive/scenic travel in the silt strider cause you and the other npc to be stuck inside it. a few other things that i cant think of off the top of my head. followed all the instructions right so not sure.
For the silt strider bug, thats an issue with the Immersive Travel mod itself, author is a aware and making an update, and they've been aware for a few months, so thats one them, 90% travel destinations work, Abots boats is also installed as they can co exist, so just use his option in cases where such is happening.
I do consider that a blemish on this build, but i decided to keep it in as i use it alot.
That should be resolved in time, i also use Immersive Travel as it includes several destinations Abots doesn't.
I'v play tested this build alot myself.
As for the pop in theirs a mod in mod options in game, thats favorited that dictates view distance based on frame rate, your fps is probably all over the place and its constantly adjusting, you can turn that off or adjust it.
Its set up to target 40 fps. and maintain max distance at 40, going below lowers distance until it returns to 40.
I chose 40 because i use Lossless Scaling's Frame Generation to 40x3 my fps to 120, and its butter smooth like such for me, also there's several locations in the world where the Morrowind engine becomes the limitation and 60 fps is not attainable at max view distance at all.
Targeting 40 allows for those heavy areas to retain high view distance as there's room for it to drop under 60.
As 60 is typically the desired target fps, but in this case i decided against it, for others not using lossless scaling, they didn't mind the fps.
I myself, sometimes forget to turn on Frame Gen and would play at 40 fps for hours on stream and only realize from an alt tab or something.
Hey thanks for the response, i had done a lot of digging and i wasn't sure if i was going in the right direction at all, but it seemed to me it has to do with the distant statics( Char-gen boat is popping in and out and other things around the world i eventually noticed would be transparent at certain distances, such as the ghost ships from cursed sails and aforementioned char-gen boat) if that is the case, id love to know if theres smoething im doing wrong when setting things up in MGE XE, not sure if that ties in with the mod you mentioned or not... i couldn't figure it out so eventually gave up and uninstalled the mod list, but id love to try and give it another shot as this mod list is calling my name!
Thanks for the info on immersive travels too, it isn't too jarring of an issue, i hope work can continue on this mod list as right now its my best alternative to OUTLANDER
p.s. just remembered that the weird transparent objects and distant statics issue was happening with OUTLANDER as well, so not sure if its something im doing wrong now lol would love to hear a response on that.
tried reinstalling again and right out the gate the same transparent and pop in with the distant statics still persists. i tried doing everything i could with the mod you mentioned, even disabling it and the issue still happens. but nothing seems to affect it, not sure what im doing wrong. this issue happens in OUTLANDER out of the box for me as well. really not sure whats going on here and im really at a loss lol.
