What's the issue with the khajiit feet and tails, exactly?

I haven't tested it in a while but some of the khajiits use the same exact better body mesh as the vanilla kahjiits just retextured but some of their paws appear on the bottom of the feet, I suspect the linked animations may be different for TR and might be the cause. The humanoid style khajiits males the tail wasn't appearing for me no clue why. I've been playing with it and honestly haven't even noticed it aside from when I tested it on creating a character.

It's tough to fix too cause I used this as the BB base to work off and it got an error every time I would import it to blender so I basically just copied node branches in nifskope from one file to another which definitely isn't the proper way to modify a mesh.

you're the first person to bring this up what do you mean by the head stretch thing and race head morphs?

I've had it clarified to me that this is a head morph animation or some such, and must be rectified in blender. Essentially it is not a bug. but the face preview does not show the skinned head essentially from my understanding, making it unmorphed and much more humanoid looking. Especially noticeable for elf races.

edit:: just been told that they are scaled in the cs, not in the mesh

this mod is only a head replacer and doesn't require a .esp unless you use the better bodies optional mod but it should not affect the scale of any heads that is most likely caused by a different mod you have installed

Its not done by any mods. it was me misunderstanding how the engine works. it is a vanilla "feature"

    Good day to you bobbythibs,

First of all, thank you for your work - this mod is really great.

I have encountered a bug when after installing the mod, all of the npcs and the player character as well have started to jiggle, it appears as slight pulsing and only persists in Project Cyrodiil and Skyrim exterior areas; when in the Morrowind mainland the issue does not happen.

If you, or any other members here, know the fix for the issue, please let me know.

    Thank you in advance,
    Robert

    EDIT:

Is there a possibility of adding an optional Better Bodies nude version?

That's really strange I wish I had some more insight with that but unfortunately, I have no clue as to what would cause that. It's not something happening on my end and this is more or less just retextures on the regular better bodies mod so maybe it's some kind of mod conflict? I will eventually push out a nude option but I want to fix the bug issue with that Kahjiit BB stated in the description before I attempt it.

This sounds like the floating point issue in vanilla engine and unrelated entirely. The solution is using openmw currently.

      Thank you for your responses!

I have done some research and I have found that other people, who use vanilla, also experience similar issues with the jittering npcs when outside of the mainland area, which is a limitation of the engine. I apologize for thinking that this very mod led to that, however it appeared just after I installed it. Must be a very strange coincidence.

Probably just more noticeable with the new models. Set your acrobatics to 1000 and ascend long enough, you'll get a presentation of the horrors that come with being far away from the mainland. Even Valve's source engine, along with CoDs older engine has this issue, just interesting, no other point I'm making.

any plans to do hair? or ideas on how to get mackoms or westlys to work with these heads? id love to use this but with mahlak orcs, ohmes, ohmes-raht, and maybe others being stuck with vanilla hair its too jarring a contrast

I have a better bodies mod under optional files for this it has some known bugs with a few of the new kahjiit subspecies but nothing game-breaking. That will fix the floating heads as this was intended to work with with those better bodies.

hey! Sorry for bothering, I just have one small question. My maormer is having purple body/missing textures and i see that an extra head is also spawing at the 0,0,0 point of the character. Is this something that is happening only to me because of some other mods, or is this actually something that was not worked on and it is just like this for now? (I am unsure about this because the sea folks are not included in list of the optional file with better bodies).
Other than that excellent work, you are so talented and patient!

This could be something I missed as originally I was just patching the Mackhom Maormer mod but then switch it to the TR version. I would say I probably just misplaced a texture, I didn’t add the better bodies for them yet try using the Moamer mod by Maars for now till I have time to look into this.

I actually see what I did wrong I’ll fix it on the next update but if you copy the texture files bb_skinm_te and bb_skinf_te from the TR BB folder and paste them into the makomlikepatch/textures/tr/b/MK_Maomer folder that should fix it I’ll have to look into the hairs tho

No problem that was my mistake was going to reorganize that mod and put it in the better bodies textures with everything else but forgot to redirect it in the .nif files

Also for the next version, if you want to switch maormer to the single BB mesh, you should remove from your package the _ul, _g, etc (basically anything that isn't a _head or _hair) from the maormer since those are the body parts that I had overridden with the BB body, following that pluginless implementation I showed you before.

Hey!  Great mod!  I'm noticing purple meshes on the ears of the Khajit in Anvil's MG.  It's one of the new sub-species. Not sure if it's just me or it's something missing.  Thanks!

It's really great finally having all the heads be consistent but would we be able to get a version without the Khajiit heads except Ohmes?
The new heads for all the Khajiit subtypes besides the Ohmes don't fit their bodies, they still have vanilla style bodies with completely different textures, so you end up with a detailed, dark brown head on a low poly bright orange spotted body.
That or better bodies for the Khajiit subtypes, but I figure this is the easier solution

You can just delete the kahjiit heads if you want but I'm currently working on the better bodies mod covering all TR bodies I actually have them all done but I'm having an issue with feet and tails for the male bodies right now. I might just upload it and hope someone else better versed in that kind of thing can come up with a bug fix as I'm admittedly pretty stumped and frustrated with trying to fix the issue.
