About this mod

This is a simple mod that makes the new races added by Tamriel_Data playable.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Disclaimer: This mod will NOT work without Tamriel_Data installed. As of Tamriel Data V10, however, Morrowind Animkit is no longer required for tails to be visible.

This is a simple mod that makes the new races added by Tamriel_Data playable. While TD has added new races to the game for a while now, they are not made playable by default. There exists Tamriel Unlimited, a brilliant mod which unlocks the creation menu for those races fully for players to peruse, but this mod is more limited to account for those faces which were not meant to be playable, such as quest-specific faces and faces belonging to certain unique npcs added by Tamriel Rebuilt. All credit goes to Tamriel Rebuilt and the asset developers behind it who made these wonderful new assets for us all to use: I simply made the add-on, which was fairly simple to make in any case.

Since a lot of players will want to know what exactly it is they're downloading, I'll include a brief description of each new race added, directly from Tamriel_Data's own files.

Chimeri-Quey
Upon the waves of the Padomaic, there are no sailors more renowned then the Chimer of Quey; a remnant of the ancient and unaltered Chimer who made a great exodus out to sea. An enduring people known for their shrewdness and efficiency in all things, as well as their strange and esoteric traditions. Their sea-bound society has made them masters of trade, bringing the care and efficiency of sailing to the table of commerce.

Keptu-Quey
The origins of the Keptu, the Men of Quey, are mysterious. They themselves do not provide many clues, beyond vague hints that they too came from Tamriel in the distant past. Their imposing fortresses and antiquated weaponry -- typically blunt or stylized to the point of being unrecognizable as instruments of war -- are at odds with their unimpeachable hospitality and ready smiles. One detects in them a stalwartness, an anxiety, a preparedness for battle.

Cathay

The Cathay are a subspecies of the Khajiit of Elsweyr. Born under a waxing Masser and full Secunda, they are similar to the Suthay-raht in appearance, save for their lack of tail and most body fur. However, they poses greater posture and strength. One of the form which walks upon the heels of its feet instead the balls.

Cathay-Raht

The Cathay-raht are a subspecies of the Khajiit of Elsweyr, sometimes called "jaguar men". Born under a waxing Masser and Secunda, they are larger and stronger than Suthay. While most Khajiit disdain weapons in favor of their natural claws, the Cathay-raht are skilled in the use of long blades.

Dagi-Raht

The tree-dwelling Dagi-raht of the Tenmar forest always land on their feet. Nimble acrobats and stealthy ambushers, they're also naturally gifted spellcasters. Though their diminutive size means they're outmatched in raw strength by most opponents, the Dagi-raht can rely on their exceptionally sharp claws in physical combat. They make excellent thieves, assassins, and nightblades. Due to their unsettlingly skeletal appearance, they're often met with distrust by other races and even their fellow Khajiit.

Ohmes

The Ohmes are a subspecies of the Khajiit of Elsweyr. Born under a new Masser and full Secunda, they are similar in some ways to Wood Elves, although generally of lesser stature. In order not to be confused with Bosmer, many Ohmes favor fierce-looking face tattoos to emphasize their feline nature. A common form of Khajiit outside of Elsweyr, often serving as ambassadors or merchants.

Ohmes-Raht

The Ohmes-raht are a subspecies of the Khajiit of Elsweyr. Born under a new Masser and waxing Secunda, they are similar to Ohmes in many ways, though they have a greater stature and more pronounced feline features. They can be easily mistaken for men at a distance. One of the form which walks upon the heels of its feet instead the balls. Ohmes-raht are particularly common High Rock and Hammerfell.

Suthay
The Suthay are a subspecies of the Khajiit of Elsweyr. Born under a new Masser and Secunda, they are similar to Suthay-raht to the point that most non-Khajiit cannot tell them apart. They can be distinguished by their smaller posture and pale fur.

Malahk Orcs
Hailing from the isolated, mountainous regions between Cyrodiil, Skyrim and Morrowind, the Malahk Orcs are a hardy people who put the barbarity of their Wrothgarian counterparts to shame. Honed by constant fighting in their land of Malahk-Bazul, the Malakh Orcs are capable of striking out in a frenzied berserk state when they succumb to their rage. Their mighty strength make them formidable with blunt weapons, axes and even bare fists, and their imposing stature enhances their ability to withstand heavy blows in medium and heavy armor.

Sea Elves
The Maormer, called "Sea Elves" (or sometimes "Fish Elves" in Tamriel), are native to the southern island kingdom of Pyandonea. Folklore claims that they are the descendants of Aldmer rebels, exiled from the Summerset Isles during the early Merethic Era. Regardless of the veracity of this story, the Sea Elves have a burning hatred of their Altmeri cousins, and are rarely seen elsewhere in Tamriel. They are distinguished by their blank, white eyes and chameleon-like skin, an involuntary process which allows them to blend in with their environment.

Reachmen
The natives of the Reach are derogatorily referred to as Reachmen, or the Witchmen of High Rock. While their ancestry is primarily Nordic and Breton, the Reachmen have intermingled with almost every  race on Tamriel, and they are considered a mongrel race by most. Their society is primitive and tribal, comparable only to the nomadic Orc tribes with whom they share both a social and a geographical niche. They are adept at subsiding in the wilderness, feeling right at home in the mesas and hills of The Reach. Reachmen practice dangerous forms of hedge-magic, and are considered fierce and relentless warriors, often employed as mercenaries.

Ynesai
The natives of the Yneslea archipelago trace their origins to the extinct Men of Akavir, and retain traces of that lost culture in millennia-old traditions. A melancholic and isolated people, the Ynesai are rarely seen in Tamriel, preferring the small, tight-knit communities of their tropical homeland.  Ynesai take every advantage in a fight, using deception and ranged weapons from afar before getting close to their enemies with knives and fists.
