This mod overhauls the entire Odai into an actual river and overhauls Balmora on the basis of my favourite mods with a lot of my own work mixed in.

Odai - Lifeblood of Balmora

"Balmora was one of the four cities of the district of Vvardenfell, known primarily as the district seat of power for the Great House Hlaalu. The city is built in the Odai river valley of the West Gash and was the largest settlement on Vvardenfell, only behind the temple-metropolis, Vivec City." - Guide to Vvardenfell


It is not a coincidence that large cities are mostly built near rivers. They enable trade and commerce on a larger scale. Both virtues of House Hlaalu. The Odai however, is hardly a creek deep enough for rowboats at times. This mod changes that. The Odai is widened to enable ship travel from Balmora to the Inner Sea. The River is generally widened to twice or thrice the width. The suspension bridge has been removed and replaced by a gondola ferry service situated on a small dock near Shulk Eggmine, which also supplies the city. The mine itself also has exterior additions. The entire landscape of the Odai's riverbanks are overhauled featuring cliffs and waterfalls. Within Balmora, the River is also doubled in size. This alone makes Balmora seem much larger. To accomodate the landscape changes, Balmora is overhauled based on many different Balmora mods, most notably on Balmora - City of Contrasts. Also features new Hlaalu Council Manor Tower and a new Morag Tong Guild. It now reflects the center of trade and commerce that the second largest city and seat of power for house Hlaalu should always have been. The Stone pillars around Balmora, based on Rocky West Gash, are the namesake of Balmora, or Stonewood. While it uses Rocky WG meshes, it is not a hard requirement. At its mouth, the Odai submerges some of the Bitter Coast, creating a new Island in its Delta. At its source, the river flows down the Caldera mountain and forms a small lake.

To use a .bat patch, you will need TES3cmd: https://wiki.project-tamriel.com/wiki/Tes3cmd
Use it with the affected mod in your Data Files folder, it will run a command line that removes entries in that mod that would conflict with my mod. Only works on windows. If you run it on MO2, copying the necessary esps from the mod folders into Data Files, run Tha bat and return them to the mod folder works best.
