Part of the Morrowind Modding Madness Competition
Made by The Morrowind Writers' Guild Team

With the fall of the Battlespire, the Legion in Gnisis needed an alternative way to train their battlemages. They commissioned a new guildhall of the Mages’ Guild to be built in the settlement to serve as a battlemage training facility. Soon, the Fighters’ Guild also moved in to some of the unused rooms of the guildhall.

Along with the Mages’ Guild’s purpose in Gnisis to train battlemages, they also offer services and conduct research, like any guildhall. The focus of their research is ethereal magic, a sub-school of alteration lost with the Dwemer, and now rediscovered. Ethereal magic makes one’s essence ethereal, and thus they can neither be harmed nor harm while under the influence of this magic.

Features of this mod include:

- Join the Mages’ Guild in Gnisis (which is established to exist in lore, but never seen in-game) and help their research concerning ethereal magic: a questline including three quests, some of which require innovative solutions and the usage of ethereal magic that you learn
- A new mechanics: ethereal magic, which makes you unable to harm or be harmed, inspired by the Skyrim shout of a similar name
- A unique artifact: a ring enchanted with ethereal magic
- A new, unique weapon
- A sub-plot: Join the Fighters’ Guild of Gnisis and do some mercenary work for them (five quests)
- A new guildhall with exterior view
- New dungeons and expansions of existing ones
- New NPCs in the guildhall that offer the usual services
- MK-esque in-game texts (Dwemer books, research notes etc.) about the lore of ethereal magic

Compabibility:

- Both MWSE and OpenMW compatible ✅
- BCOM compatible ✅

To begin:

Find the new guildhall in Gnisis, and talk with the guild stewards there for the quests. The guildhall is situated to the west of the rock arch and Arvs-Drelen, and northeast-ish of Vabdas' Hut.
