What exactly did I upscale?
- bedroll and canvas
- most of the Daedric weapon texture group
- Azura's Star
- most plants (some parts of the plant I could not upscale, but the parts I have, are great)
- 15 of 16 Books (Book 15 had frills that simply would mess up so I left that one out)
- Cliffracer (not the head)
- containers (urn, crate, chests)
- Golden Saint
- Sleeper
- exquisite set of clothes
- doors
- Dwarven Puzzle Box
- a few pieces from the Dwarven textures group
- a few pieces from the Daedric textures group
- container locks / door keyholes
- some rope
- road marker
- some cave rock textures
- rugs (left one rug out)
- some metals
- shrines
- sewer texture group
- shack texture group
- signs
- broom
- some stronghold textures
- some weapons and ammo
- Goldbrand texture group
- wood (not trees or bark)
- furniture features
- post features
- the sun
- Vivec tileset (33 of 36 textures)
- Molag Mar (3 textures, 2 cracked roads and 1 cracked earth displayed near water)
- a few crate-related textures
- scuffed wood
- glow mapped vanilla mushrooms
- made all mushrooms as individual entities, making them entirely customizable, allowing modders to place single mushrooms, and giving the player the opportunity to add any texture they wish to any part of the mushroom
- Ashlands grass
- cave plant
- Daedric metals (3 types, adding contrast to the metal parts and making the Daedric door look remarkably clear)
- added the missing texture to \More Scuffed Wood
...and finally:
- Bridge Ropes
Did I add non-vanilla textures?
Only a couple:
tx_fabric_6th_bedroll.dds
tx_fabric_6th_bedroll_01.dds
...I used the canvas texture I upscaled to 1k for both the bedroll and the pillow, lightening the bedroll and the pillow to appear a bit more clean to sleep in.
What exactly did I not upscale?
- anything that had pixel density issues (many plants I could not complete due to this)
- anything that required touch-ups post-upscale (there were many I rejected due to this)
- texture groups that have amazing and existing texture replacement mods already (terrain and landscape, all creatures, clutter and so on; I did a few of the latter and ended up keeping them in the mod)
I hope you enjoy this texture pack, as small as it is. I love it.
