I tried the original a few times. no matter what i do she keeps dying on me in matter of minutes if not seconds. Can't she be made immune to water damage too? She looks lovely just can't stay alive? What am i doing wrong lol ?
The original was very buggy, but most if not all the bugs should be ironed out now. Read the water damage section in the description for more details about that. You can also dismiss her to several locations and then resummon her with her new ring of teleportation. Or is she dying from something else?
thanks for ur reply. i honestly do'nt know exactly why she goes down so often and quickly. sometimes she seems to be breathing(sleeping), like she is fatigued or hungry, even after i fed half my bar of blood to her, & did heal fatigue spells on her, other times walking merely 10 meters in rain and she dies. Last playthru she was in the bar where i met her but i didn't take her along, when i came back she did that pink/red light effect and just croaked. having her be a bit more resistant would have been nice, or tell me what she needs somehow before going down lmao?
So. This is basically a new and improved version of Acashiea Moca? I played with the old one for years, she is a cool companion. Are there any major changes from her old self or just tweaks?
Yes, I remade it from the ground up to fix all the bugs in the original. As for new things, she now has an outfit and rosary that matches the anime she's based off of. You can now set what weapon and armor type you want her to use. She also comes with a ring of teleportation (requires MWSE) that allows you to dismiss her to 7 preset locations, summon her to you from anywhere, and activate a setting called "Smart Following." That setting will keep Moka following you even if you use console commands, script functions, or intervention/recall spells to move around.
This sounds cool. I admire your dedication to your project. I will definitely check this out. I play with OMW so it will be a play test of sorts. I will let you know if I encounter any issues. BTW, could you do an add-on with her old clothes? I kinda got attached to them over the years!
Thanks! It "should" work with openmorrowind as long as you don't use her ring of teleportation (it uses MWSE functions). I'll see if I can find her old outfit in my backup files.
Nice of u to do so tho, i will want to try ur revamp. No way u'd attempt redoing the Tilani mod to be fixed-up, playable and a bit more mature-like lol?
LMFAO. CandescentFire There are a couple of patches for the Tilani mod available here on the nexus. I have played it both before and after the patches. The patches do indeed fix a lot of issues and make the mod playable and somewhat enjoyable. They do not make it a bit more mature however.
I gave the mod a little test run and I don't think it has any problems running on OpenMW 0.48 (or older, or newer, I'd imagine) since it isn't actually using any MWSE scripts but totally vanilla scripts.
I tested simple things like combat (her "fists" are basically invisible Short Blades) and travel (needed Companion Teleport to go to Mainland Morrowind/Tamriel Rebuilt areas) and nothing off. The visual effect of her transforming seems to work as intended and, basically, I have no idea why the mod says it needs MWSE/MGE because it works fine without either... based on a 10 minute test run, though, and a lack of visible MWSE scripts in the folders indicating a need for it.
It requires MWSE for her ring of teleportation. I've never used openmw, so I'm not sure if it works or not. As long as you don't use her ring it may work fine. As the ring uses MWSE functions to warp her to you from other cells, such from as Balmora to Mournhold.
In that case, I'd recommend OpenMW users use this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/49864) on top of this one so she can teleport with you. (EDIT): OR this (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/53042) if using with Persuasive Speech.

Imagine if all races were redone in this style.
