How are these Morrowind dudes running around having all kinds of big magicka pools while I'm here stuck with less arcane potential than an illiterate potato? Surely if the magic of sleep increases my ability to not die, then should it not also increase my raw intelligence? That's how that works, right? Right?
The real question is, who cares? Have a mod that adds some quality of life stuff for mages.
FEATURES: With this mod the equation for how your max magicka is calculated with this mod is ((your base intelligence * (1 + any max magicka bonuses you have) + the magicka bonuses you've received upon each level up). By default this magicka bonus is like your endurance health bonus: Every level up you gain magicka equal to your intelligence divided by the mod's scaling bonus (which is by default 10). This means at 100 intelligence you gain an extra 10 magicka every level. You're free to tweak this to your liking in the configuration menu that is included.
INSTALLATION: -This requires the latest build of MWSE-Lua. Make sure you have it, or I'll tell Todd. -This mod IS NOT RETROACTIVE. The magicka bonus it grants is calculated each time you level up and stored as a variable. As such, it works most naturally with a brand new character. -HOWEVER before you run off in disgust read this, please god, for once in your life, read. You can manually set your current max magicka bonus using the in-game console. I'll leave it your discretion as to what you want your current character's magicka to be, if you have a pre-existing character.
