Loved this mod to the death and it's the only one making the change to OpenMW painful to me, I just HATE TES Mana mechanics, it forces you to pick Altmer/Breton every time because you are limited by your Int so badly. Not into MW Modding at all, but would it theoretically be possible to implement this into OpenMW?
Underrated. Without it, if you decide to specialize in Illusion, Alteration, Mysticism, or Restoration, even though they are all magic related, you're stuck forever with the same magicka pool you started with, since those schools aren't governed by Intelligence.
Arguably, it can be made retroactive - there are mods that make Endurance-based health retroactive. Similarly, Intelligence at previous level-ups shouldn't matter here: only the current Intelligence should. I know, I know, these mods include the bonus in base HP. But what's stopping us from doing the same for Magicka.
Every retroactive health mod I see calculates it as a base health thing. This doesn't work like that, it stores each level's previous magicka bonus as a value. Like I said, installing it mid game means it doesn't know what you had each level, so it can't work retroactively like that.

Tricky to balance, and I would like it to be retroactive, but great concept regardless
P.S.: so nice to see you modding! I played through so many of your mods through the years. Thank you so much.
Is it possible to add magic skills to the calculation?
so for example:
100 in destruction would (tweakable) give 10 magicka. etc.
