This made me very excited to start a new character, thank you. Is it compatible with Slower Leveling, you think?

They should be totally compatible since they edit different things.

Great idea. I have the same thoughts.

I play in that way since a long, long time.
I use other, old mod, which changes the attribute multiplier to 1 or 2 and slows down skill gaining about four times. So mostly I used trainers to level up. And I make no enchantments, difficulty set to 200.

And I have to say the game is still too easy. ;)

Hello Pen, this is the sort of mod my OpenMW is missing. One advantage to OpenMW is it's painless to install new landmasses like TR, but a character coming from Vvardenfell, with maxed out skills, will steamroll through new encounters and quests. The only natural solutions I've found are mods like Kirbonated Character Progression and VitruvianGuar's Class Skill Limit, which cap minor and misc skills. Have you given any thought to capping minor and misc skills with this mod, or is it feature complete?

Hi there, I don't have plans to add any more features to this mod (aside from support for the original engine if I can get it working). It's complete as is. I'm pretty sure capping skills would require lua scripting which right now I don't have any understanding of, so it's outside of my ability to add even if I did wanted to.

Would it be possible to get a massively reduced leveling rate of non major/minor skills rather than none at all? If no, Would you say Linoras mod would be more what I'm looking for? As I would still like it to be "possible" to level those skills through gameplay but have it be essentially inert whilst also retaining the ability to not have to optimize those +5's while leveling.

I can add an alternative file that does this (will likely upload it some time tomorrow or the following day). There's plenty of leveling mods that make it easier to get better bonuses, but I'm not aware of any that slow down misc skill growth specifically. I'll set misc skills to level 5x slower than in the vanilla game if that sounds agreeable.

Just a heads up that my mod isn't a good choice if you're looking for something that will let you easily get optimal attribute bonuses though. While attributes are easier to get through leveling major and minor skills with this mod I also intentionally made it impossible to get +4 or +5 bonuses in three attributes every level. The best attribute bonuses you can get are +5/+5/+1, +4/+4/+2, or +4/+3/+3. And this is only if you're carefully only leveling specific, targeted major skills. I wanted it to be easier to get good bonuses, but impossible to get perfect ones so the player still has to make choices about what they want to focus on.

Oh yah I totally understand I view your implementation of the +5 mechanic to be more balanced, I didnt want to end up downloading one of those mods that just give me +5 +5 +5 every level irregardless of what skills I level. I figured by default this mod would help with achieving that +5 bonus even if its not always +5 for every skill as you would be able to control what skills level much nicer (looking at you acrobatics and athletics). Your mod seems to have that balance unless I'm misunderstanding how the leveling works (I just started playing this game 2 weeks ago so perhaps I misunderstand the +5 mechanic)
