Is it safe to uninstall during a playthrough (after a few hours, still level 1)...? I had the mod installed for a Tamriel Rebuilt playthrough and forgot to disable it when starting a regular playthrough...
If you're on OpenMW, it should be safe. On old engine, it's always safe to start a new game if you change your load order. If you're still level 1, just start a new game.
It is a good mod, it does what the description says. However, I would suggest using some other mod. For me, 2x is still too fast. Also, I see no point in modifying skill training cost: this only indulges money grinding. In a game where the economy is easily broken with silly exploits. The in game economy is not very good even without the exploits, which is classical for most computer games.
Reducing the speed of leveling up even further breaks the original ratios/proportions between the various skills. For the economy: just don't cheat! xD
Just drag and drop the .esp from the rar archive into your Morrowind/Data Files folder, using a software like WinRar. Then simply enable the .esp in the Morrowind or OpenMW launcher.
For balance purposes I also use Morrowind Anti-Cheese, Ownership Overhaul, MDMD, Real Disposition, Alchemical Hustle, Wait and Sleep, Tribunal Rebalance, Bloodmoon Rebalance, Beware The Sixth House and Pursuit (OpenMW).
With this mod combined the hardest difficulty feels as it should've been in vanilla. Thanks!
P.S. - For those who are struggling with expensive skill training in order to rank up in the guild I'd suggest trying out "Practice Dummies & Targets" mod
Morrowind is not easy at all, at least compared with today standards. My 1/2 leveling mod is anyway necessary imho if you also have big landmass/quest mods like Tamriel Rebuilt, because the contents of the game at that point become doubled at least. Without a slower leveling speed, the progression is not balanced anymore.
Was wondering if you could please upload a version with just slower leveling, playing with Price Balance already and would appreciate just the slower leveling. No pressure if not, thanks for the mod!
If you install it mid-game, you will still have all the skills you already developed, only the new ones will now be suddenly much harder to gain. Other than that, it should be fine. Just put it at the bottom of your load order so you don't mess up the formIDs from the other plugins in your current save.

I'm really into your exp gain pace, but the training cost I think is too much.
I guess it’s the most consistent option.
