Description

This mod dynamically hides hud elements, in an attempt to declutter the HUD. Everything can be customized/toggled individually, and no component of this mod is mandatory. Feel free to pick and choose whichever features you like.

This mod is similar to both INOM and Clear Sight, although I didn't know about those mods until after I made this one. Here are the differences: this mod lets you individually toggle/customize the various aspects of the HUD, and it includes support for hiding permanent effect icons as well. Although, INOM/Clear Sight offer some features that mod doesn't, such as a hot key to toggle the HUD, and compatibility with Ashfall/HUD Encumberance bar. So you should check those out if this isn't quite what you're looking for. You can also (probably) use this mod in conjunction with INOM or Clear Sight, but your results may vary.


Features

  • Hide health/magicka/fatigue bars if they're above 90%. (You can change the threshold in the MCM. There's also an option to always show health/magicka/fatigue whenever a weapon is drawn.)
  • Hide active weapon/magic when weapon is holstered. (You can toggle these separately in the MCM.)
  • Hide magic icons for permanent bonuses/constant enchantments. (You can disable this in the MCM.) Note: This setting only disables the icons that show up in the bottom right part of the HUD (next to the minimap). With this option enabled, you'll still be able to see all active magic effects from the magic menu. This setting is intended to make it easier to see, at a glance, what temporary buffs/debuffs you have.
  • Options to hide the minimap: you can choose between: hiding it when your weapon is holstered, or hiding it when weapon is drawn, or hiding it when indoors, or hiding it when outdoors.
  • Hide companion healthbars when they're health is above 90%. (Requires More Detailed Companion Health Bars (by Spammer).) There's also an option to always show companion health when a weapon is drawn.
  • Hide Spammer's QuickKey Hotbar, and show it temporarily when a weapon is out/for X number of seconds after using a hotkey.
  • Hide Ashfall HUD elements when your condition is fine. (No wetness bar when you're dry, etc.)


Compatibility

  • Compatible with Seph's HUD Customizer. My mod has no overlap in features with Seph's mod, and I think the two go well together.
  • Compatible with More Detailed Companion Health Bars (by Spammer). (Compatible with the compact version anyway, let me know if there are problems with the full version.) There are options to hide health bars based on companion health.
  • Compatible with Ashfall. Temparature, wetness, and "shelter" icons will be hidden when everything is fine. (You won't see a temperature bar when you're at a goldilocks temperature, nor will you see a wetness bar when you're dry.)
  • Compatible with QuickKey Hotbar. There are options to show the hotbar when a weapon is holstered, and/or for X number of seconds after using a hotkey. (The X number of seconds thing also works if using the arrow keys to change bars, provided Virn's Hotkeys Extended mod is also installed.)
