About this mod

The mod replaces the filled soul gems with analogs with a different model. Only for OpenMW. Similar to "Visually Filled Soul Gems" by NullCascade for MWSE. Models are not included in the mod, you need to download "Crystal Soul Gems". Version updated to 1.1 with two critical bug fixes.

ChangeSoulGemOMW

A mod that replaces the soul stone model when it is filled. Works only for OpenMW, Lua script is used.
In fact, when a filled soul stone appears in the game world (for example, when you put it from the player's invectory on the table), it is completely replaced by a similar object, but with a different model.
In the future, perhaps the developers of the OpenMW engine will make it possible to change only the model, without a complete replacement of the object, and this mod will become obsolete.

In version 1.1, bugs have been fixed:
1) Previously, a stack of stones was replaced with just one stone.
2) Stones now retain the same owner, both individual or guild.
Thanks to Zackhasacat for fixing the bug.


Mod Installation:
1) Download the Crystal Soul Gems mod.
2) Place the contents of the mod's "textures" folder into the game's "textures" folder.
3) Choose one of the variants for unfilled soul gems from the mod's resources. I prefer "02 - No Glow". Nif-Models for unfilled soulgems should be placed in the game folder "Data Files\Meshes\m". If the folder doesn't exist, create it.
4) Choose one of the variants for the filled soulgems from the mod resources. I prefer "05 - Ultra Glow". Nif-models for filled soulgems put in the game folder "Data Files\Meshes\m_svnr". Such a folder most likely does not exist, create it.
5) Download my mod with Lua script.
6) Copy the file ChangeSoulGemOMW.ESP (or ChangeSoulGemOMW_RU.ESP for the Russian version) in the "Data files" folder of the game. Activate it in the openMW Launcher, or by other means.
7) Copy the ChangeSoulGemOMW folder to the place where scripts are usually located (for me it's "Documents\My Games\OpenMW\data\lua").
8) In the OpenMW Launcher on the "Data Directories" tab add the folder with the script. Then in the "Content Files" tab, check "ChangeSoulGoulGemOMW.omwscripts".
9) Play

To disable the script, uncheck "ChangeSoulGemOMW.omwscripts" on the Content Files tab of the openMW Launcher. If you have filled soulgems using this script, it is not recommended to disable the ChangeSoulGemOMOMW.ESP plugin, otherwise the soulgems created in this way will be lost.
The soul gem models must be removed from the folders manually.

If something did not work, see the instructions for installing lua scripts.Perhaps you need to add lines to openmw.cfg not in the game folder, but in Documents\My Games\OpenMW.
