  • OAAB Data
  • Tamriel Data

II. Description:

This mod aligns the Vivec Arena with the concept art by RomanDubina, created for Skywind. The arena pit is now an exterior cell, covered by a semi-opened imposing tent serving as a dome.
Additionally, an optional add-on is available, introducing banners atop the new open dome and creating cozy spots in the four corners of the arena pit.

III. Installation:

The mod folders are organized as follows:

  • 00 - Core files: Contains all the required files.
  • 01 - Clutter Add-On: Adds banners atop the new open dome and some cozy spots.
  • 02 - FPS-Friendly Version: this version uses the "interior as exterior" flag. The Arena looks the same from the outside, and from the inside, and you get the dynamic lighting ecc. but the Arena Pit is its own cell like in the base game. Seeing the Arena open while not being able to fly or jump inside or outside can be relatively immersion breaking, but it's also true that you usually don't do that during normal game-play. In any case, this is the only FPS solution possible that still keeps the scenic aspect of the mod intact. This version requires the assets from the clutter folder but not the ESP file, Also this vesion shouldn't be used alongside the main esp but as the only ESP.

IV. Compatibility:

  • Compatible with BCoM, but remove "BCOM - Open Vivec Arena.esp" if you were using the Open Arena addon.
  • Not compatible with Morrowind Rebirth and Welcome to the Arena.

V. Installation and Removal:

  • Manager: Mod Organizer 2 or Wrye Mash is highly recommended for easy installation, activation, and removal.
  • Manual: Extract the contents of the "00 - Core Files" folder to your Morrowind Data; extract the Add-on only if desired.

VI. Credits:

Skywind team and RomanDubina for the idea and concept arts.
