Regarding the OpenMW "bug" of not being able to copy your appearance- is the clone created with random appearance, or is there a consistency to it? Always the first head/hair combo of the list for each race for example?
Do you have to be a Thieves Guild member to play the mod. My build is that of a power hungry mage who will do anything to acquire more of it, especially that of the magic variety. So stealth isn't really my forte and why stealth when I can solve my problems with a fireball to the face. And the ability to clone oneself is something a mage would be interested in
A cursory Thieves Guild membership is required, but you can use spells to do all of the thefts required in the quests. As soon as you're a rank 1 Thieves Guild member, the quests are open to you - you don't have to have done any previous Thieves Guild quests.
