It seems to have more colored lanterns in the screenshots than the vanilla version. It is very beautiful. Is it from OAAB mods ?

    Thanks !

This is amazing! Is there a way to get it to work with the glowing windows from Glow in the Dahrk?

First try loading GITD *after* Distant Lights, if you didn't install manually, that is. If you did, reinstall GITD manually again.

if that doesnt work, the meshes will need to be merged in a patch

GITD after Distant Lights make both the mods work ! But now you will see light lanterns before windows lights appear. Is there a way to make GITD works as far as Distant Lights ?

This looks great, but I can't manage to make this mod work. Is it possible to have some detailed explanations please ?

    Thank you very much

[EDIT] I managed to make it work by seeing the comment section in Distant Lights.

Hi, I noticed that this mod has the same uv issues on the flames as the original mod (upside down flame, bottom of texture visible at the top of the flame), and the square shape is not ideal from all angles. Also, the texture is very small to begin with and is scaled down even more when distant statics are generated, depending on the settings. It also doesn't look very much like fire. I fixed the first problem already a while back for myself by changing the square shape to one with crossed planes. And just now I made a new flame texture that is actually based on the vanilla flame particle effect and should match the near version better (I'm using Ashfall, though, which has much smaller flames, but it still looks much better than before). I've uploaded a comparison and an ingame screenshot to this mod's image section, and here are my edited files:

    MGE Distant Lights Flame Edit

You may include these in this mod if you want, as I don't want to create a separate mod page with essentially a different version of this mod. I can upload it to my WIP mods page, though, in case you don't want them (I'm really lazy with uploading mods these days, I'm afraid).

Edit: By the way, you've added glowmaps to the lanterns, but distant statics don't use glowmaps, only the base diffuse textures. The glow comes from the material's emission color.
