    Hello! Just out of curiosity is this compatible with Rebirth? I downloaded your mod and the imperial champion doesn’t show up so wanted to see if Rebirth is the issue. Thanks!

      Yes, I have used it with Rebirth about a month ago.

      The Mod simply adds a new NPC who greets you outside the Census Office and there are no edits of the cell. That NPC then disappears after you exit the area. I actually started using this mod because I was playing Rebirth and I needed some help via the basic gear and money.

    Hello again, Cl3v3rP0tat0! It's me again. I somehow managed to make this mod and Animated Morrowind work together without using any extra stuff. It erases some NPCs from the latter though, but I prefer Trabonis Feternis over any of them.

    EDIT: Update. The bug has accidentally caused Morrowind to be even more immersive. At first, Animated Morrowind NPCs are not there. The next day, they are busy doing their stuff. They have become like the NPCs of later installments who have their own schedule.

    EDIT 2: All I had to do was install Animated Morrowind first, then install this mod next. In the load order, Spuzzum's Starting Equipment should load first before Animated Morrowind.

    I love this mod with all my body, heart, mind, and soul. Unfortunately, it is incompatible with Animated Morrowind because it causes our friendly neighborhood guard---Trabonis Feternis--- to be erased from existence. Until there is a patch, it was nice meeting him in every playthrough. 😢😔

      Hmm,  changing load order and running merge patch doesn't fix it? Strange because the mod only adds one NPC (Trabonis Feternis) - no edits of an existing/vanilla NPC.  :/

      PS. I don't run Animated Morrowind (frankly I found it a compatibility  hassle) but I do run animated mods like Repopulated Morrowind, Friends and Foes, Bards of Bardenfell along with BCOM and 250 other mods.

      I am doing a merge right now and it's my first time. So far, I am doing well. I will not merge this mod. Instead, I will install it once I am done merging all mods.

      A merge patch scans though all the mods (esp) and essentially sorts and accommodates the changes each esp makes to a certain game asset.
      If something is in direct conflict - then the last mod in the load order "wins" - the merge patch follows that rule as well.

      So, this mod ADDS one NPC to Seyda Neen...but Animated Morrowind also adds stuff. The merge patch will places all those changes into one patch that will be placed at the end of your load order.

      That would be merging mods - which is entirely different - a merge patch requires you to run a mod utility and works like I described in my last post. I run on OpenMW so I use Delta-plugin

      Look,  if you newly started adding mods - you will run into the need at some point to use merge patching - otherwise things will just not be working as you intend - any mod that changes something another changes will overwrite the other - a merge patch can accommodate most edits to a cell so more than one mod can change things.

    I find this mod lore-friendly and realistic:


    • While not directly interfering with your prophetically driven plight, it makes sense you'd be thrown a few supplies after being released from custody upon exiting the Census and Excise Office.
    • This further cements the concept that your circumstances are being closely guided by the powers that be albeit remotely.
    • The Imperial Guard bearing gifts is sycophantic in regards to his Emperor but he only knows enough to carry out his orders and it shows in his awkwardly delivered address to the former Prisoner.
