My submission for the 2023 Summer Modjam. Sadly unfinished before the deadline - I bit off way more than I could chew in 48 hours. Currently only contains exteriors, with no interiors or quests - this is not a finished mod and currently only offers sightseeing. The mod offers an interpretation of what the Sload necromancer N'Gasta's tower on Vvardenfel may have looked like.

"Someone thinks the Masque of Clavicus Vile is here on Vvardenfell. Apparently there are many copies of 'N'Gasta! Kvata! Kvakis!' here on Vvardenfell. N'Gasta was a great Sload necromancer and servant of Clavicus Vile in the Second Era, and he may have had a wizard's tower here. An agent came to me asking questions about N'Gasta. The agent would not give his name, but I have learned he was in the employ of someone named Sorkvild the Raven."

A servant of Clavicus Vile (albeit for their own ends), I went with Daedric architecture for the 'tower'. Sload architecture is said to primarily be constructed with coral, though this may be from post-Morrowind additions to the lore. Lacking coral assets, I primarily went with retextured Kwama Cliffs from OAAB Data to give the lair an organic appearance; perhaps the caverns were carved out by sload larvae, the children of N'gasta. Being slug-like, climbing vertical surfaces should not be a problem (though they don't travel anywhere with haste).

Modjam Theme:
Verticality

Requirements:
OAAB_Data
Tamriel_Data

Compatibility:

This mod makes some drastic landscape changes just south of Molag Mar. It's an area not touched by many mods (I'm running just over 600 plugins in my own modlist). Nonetheless, anything making landscape changes in the following cells would likely conflict:
  • 11, -9
  • 12, -9

If using the Merged_Lands tool, I recommend following its instructions for creating a .mergedlands.toml patch for this mod. It should contain the followiing:

version = "0"
meta_type = "Patch"

[height_map]
conflict_strategy = "Overwrite"

[vertex_colors]
conflict_strategy = "Overwrite"

[texture_indices]
conflict_strategy = "Overwrite"

[world_map_data]
conflict_strategy = "Overwrite"
Credits:
The Tamriel_Data team and OAAB_Data team and their numerous contributors for their assets. Many rock meshes from OAAB and from the TR_Data BSA were used and retextured. In particular the OAAB Kwama Cliff and Kwama Rock meshes which have been used extensively, retextured with Azura's Coast textures.

Our cat Rupert, the true creator of all my mods. I merely provide the opposable thumbs for his escapades.

For Modjam Judges:
The mod is centred on the cells 11,-9 and 12,-9 southwest of Molag Mar. There are no Interiors so doors do not lead anywhere.
