There was actually an imperial fort mod released before yours and it has the same name. Just to prevent confusion you may wanna adjust the name to be Old Ghostmoth or change the name entirely to something else like Fort Deadmoth or Fort Dankmoth The other mod can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/52300
Like this mod btw. it's a nice castle home. doesn't exactly fit lore being so close to pelagiad since there is an imperial fort (not much reason for a second imperial fort to be literally less than a mile from the first one.) there but as a player home I can let that slide as it is quite nice.
Oh boy, that is extremely unfortunate. Is this generally something that's frowned upon hard in the community? Because I would absolutely hate to change the name of this. It has existed in an 80% finished state under this name since 2011, so I'm quite attached to it. I just reinstalled MW recently and dusted the mod off, added the barracks section (to make those round watch towers make sense) and did a few minor tweaks to the gallery section and then uploaded it out of curiosity.
Nah it's not frowned upon. I don't think this has ever happened before. I was more worried they would get yours confused with theirs and vice versa. and wow your mod is that old? No wonder it has a nostalgic charm to it.
A previous housing mod also uses that spot. A later version of it moved it out to over near Sadrith Mora, though. Castle Vianden? Do I recall its name right?
This is the mod whose resources get used in Kat's Kastle.
Kat's Kastle's not openMW friendly; some resources don't load right and I'm told it has quests, which are broken in openMW.
Some of the broken resources are also broken in the original Castle Vianden. It's a shame; it's lovely work.
Edit: I forgot to ask: how is this mod in terms of openMW compatibility? It looks lovely in the screenshots, but... beyond that? Thank you!
Oh, I do remember seeing Castle Vianden (that was by ReflectioN, right?) but I never saw a version west of Pelagiad until you mentioned it. It predates mine by about 7 years by the looks of it. I guess I should add it to the description.
Anyway, OpenMW shouldn't cause any quarrels with this, it uses only stock MW assets (including just one from Tribunal, I am trying to swap it out so it's just depending on Morrowind.esp).
