FYI this mod is currently sending a message that it can't find the module UI Expansion, despite UI Expansion being installed and working. Might be an issue with UI Expansion getting updated.

    Is this possible with OpenMW?

Really cool but doesnt work so well with Kirbonated Character Progression. When you level up the image fills half the screen

I like the new models for the items in the pictures youve done, how did you go about getting those done?
Are they recreated using AI or did you have to model those yourself? they look great and quite realistic for what they are! Curious as to how you made them :)

If its AI, it did really well on the text on the book!

They are images of 3d renders of actual in-game items, super imposed over one another to create the full image at run time.

The new items are from OAAB_Data. I used Morrowind Enhanced Textures for the 3D renders which is why the book textures look more detailed than vanilla.

Does MWSE impose them over the top? or did you guys just replace the dds?
Little confused how you got images of a render to line up correctly

The mod is packaged with almost 100 different images which are layered in a particular order based on some pretty complex logic which I created after studying the vanilla class images and then Merlord turned it into a set of Lua scripts. If you look at the TGA files bundled in the mod, you can see examples of the component images that are used.

Another reason why OpenMW will never be as great as the original game with script extender

Would it be possible to also release the individual images and background as a resource for other projects and such?

The TGAs in this mod are free to use if that's what you mean. Feel free to build your own custom class images with them if you like.

A dream come true for my thirteen year old self who always thought that this should have been a vanilla feature.

Yeah, same here. It always really bothered me that all custom classes got the same image which usually didn't match your skills. So I'm thankful that Merlord's coding was able to breath life into this idea! I spent a lot of time doing research into the vanilla images to set up the logic. So hopefully some of that shows through in the mod.
