Morrowind Mod of the Day EP344 - Window to Aetherius Showcase
Swirling stars, great cosmic constellations, vast nebulas of color, that glorious firmament of Nirn is the subject of today's Mods of the Day, for today we're showcasing two major graphical replacers for the night skies of Morrowind with Window to Aetherius and The Lunar Lorkhan by Markel.
Not just a simple graphical replacer, Window to Aetherius not only replaces the night sky of Morrowind with a truly mesmerizing vista of color and light, but also adds new functionality to that night sky so that it'll change with the season, month by month.
No longer a static, fixed firmament, now the night sky will never look the same twice, with constellations appearing and disappearing depending on the season, with vast and beautiful nebulas making their way across the sky.
Now you'll be able to track the 13 birthsign constellations from the vanilla game, with each one rising to prominence during one month of the year.
Between this new functionality, and a honestly breathtakingly gorgeous new night sky, Window to Aetherius is simply the best replacer for Morrowind's nighttime vistas, and combined with The Lunar Lorkhan, a 3d replacer for the moons of Nirn, Masser and Secunda, this is, without question, the ultimate night sky for Morrowind.
I cannot recommend these mods enough, they are simply absolute must-haves!
