Hey, love the mod but just one question:
In skies IV the skybox looked far away, the stars were smaller; while in this one its like they are much closer? And to me atleast it doesnt look realistic at all? Was this intended or?

This is one of the best skybox mods I've seen, and I'm always looking to improve my night sky.

Since you're still doing some work on this, would it be at all possible to make a version where the constellations are a bit more subtle? I love the colors, especially the way they reflect off the water, really giving ship mods a whole new dynamic of appeal, but I find the nebulae are just a little too on the nose. I still love the general look though. Your artistry is absolutely impeccable.

After I installed this I could not see the moons anymore? Does this affect the moons?

I've been waiting a long time for a proper seasonal night sky and real ES constellations. This is phenomenal work nd very immersive. Even knowing I'll only see one of three constellations I still regularly look up at the sky in-game, to remind myself I'm not in the real world. Would you consider a simpler, darker background as an option in a future update?

A darker background is something I considered. I might make one for a future update since I still have a few updates planned for this.

Please do so! I would love a darker nightsky, though beautiful as it is now, a choice for darker skies would be amazing!

This looks really cool! However, would you consider doing a version that resembles more real-world constellations without the added outline art of the birthsign?

This is an option I'd love to see, as well.

Excellent work on this fine mod, Markel!

+1 Indeed! Though the original work here is great, the ability to have alternate textures in the sky, some of them even from old mods here that portray great textures of the real night sky would be great as well, the more choices the better!

    Hello !

Sorry you already answered to this problem in a comment below. Maybe it will be better with a darker night indeed.

But your idea and your work... This is really impressive.

    See you

I can't wait for OpenMW to be able to have this.
In the meantime I'm using SkiesIV. But I have absolutely fallen in love with this.
Requesting a lite unmoving version as a compromise for us OpenMW users. <3
    Pretty Pweease.
