I picked the original texture from a MacKom's head, closest to the thing I wanted to make, edited it, usually also using some other already made textures, then applied the new texture to a copy-pasted head, that is the closest to what I need from the array of the original MacKom's heads. Sometimes before that made some edits in blender, using a plugin, that allows porting NIF files in and out. Then just created the head in the Construction Set, picked my created head as a mesh, and assigned it to a race, dat all.
What sort of mesh edits have you done in blender? I made a custom one myself with it, but it was really time consuming and I couldn't use the mirror modified with the shape keys.
Well, on some heads I've made nostrils wider, on some - eyes bigger, one some - enlarged and twisted the chin to make it resemble a beard. I dunno, I didn't have any problems with anything, my dude.
Some changes did break wwwwhatever you just said (I literally have no idea what I'm doing, dude xd), but I just reverted them and made some other, that didn't break anything.
Please! I got another request! Some nord male haircuts in the style of: Modern hairs for Mackom. Maybe some spikey haircuts of sorts. Or a short mo-hawk? I think its called. A fade like a short military cut. Etc etc. Just giving you ideas! Thanks!
I would literally give you a virtual hug if you could take a little request of mine! No pressure (honestly your work is worth the hype) though! May I ask for a Male Dunmer ponytail hair? One not quite long like the ones from the Hag hair section for Male Imperials (I think its where those are from :o) and preferably dark in colour like the usual black hair the dunmer have! I'd aaalso ask for a darker, more refined beard too for one of the heads I use *but* if that's too much I can venture to Nifscope and Photoshop and learn it from the tips you left in the comment section, which I'm quite thankful of. Cheers!
You want something along the lines of the vanilla "bun-like" pony tale? Also, I need a reference to understand, what head do you want. Sorry for the time it took to answer, I was and still am ill, and before that - out of town.
Hey, I am trying to use your mods but almost every head appears distorted like this: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/images/8202 I am using OpenMW modded. This happens regardless of the other mackom mods I activate(whether I use openmw patch, galleos, etc) and this doesn't happen with Mackom heads from other mods. Also, this doesn't happen to a very few of your heads like most of the orc heads.
Eeerrrrrrrr. Might be cause I'm using just a BW-ed texture with height adjustments instead of a proper normal map. Most of the orc heads use the same normal, that comes with original MacKom's heads, so probably that is the reason. I just really didn't wanna set the proper normal map tool and this variant seemed to work basically the same. Apart from that - zero idea why, but most likely that is why.
Instant wack on the track button, endorsement to follow (15 min cooldown on smashing buttons)
I know I've harped about the Witcher before, but any chance that that shaved sides and ponytail haircut from your Geralt race could be refind and done into a hairstyle for Nords?
Heck, wish I had the knowledge to do it myself, but alas

That is actually quite easy, if you really want to - just watch a couple of videos of how to f*** with layers in paint.net (for applying what you want on top of MacKom's textures, like I do) and how to work with nifscope (for how to make meshes use your textures). For starters that is all you need.
Yes, I too thought they, despite being really nice, kinda lack detail and, you know, like a feel or some kind of flavour to them. Also, I think you kinda missed the comment section. This page is for hair, but yeah, heads I got too)
