No sound plays at all from Almalexia when using this mod using the default Morrowind engine. Digging into the files, I noticed the bitrate was different for the audio files in this mod vs what is found in the standard game files. Seems that was the problem as re-encoding the audio at 64 kbps (constant) fixed the issue for me.

I have an issue though. The voice doesn't play in my game. I'll assume that it is related to the use of two mods that affect her. Amalexia's Chamber Overhaul v1.61 and Amalexia Replacer v1.1. I had console RA to get her to show up in the first place so something is going on. I also installed via MO2 so I don't know if that has issue with installation and the placement of the MP3 files.
Either way, I am hopeing the make the trinity work as these mods together would be awesome. Thanks.
i wonder if it can by figuring out how the AI sounds out the words, by making it say it right by spelling it differently. i have seen other people try this method with other TTS programs like this and you get varying results, but if you can bend the words a little, they can somewhat sound out the words using the TTS program.
holy crap! i was curious if someone was going to do this, look i don't even play this game, but after watching someone talking about playing this game on my android phone i just had to see if someone from the morrowind game was going to use eleven labs AI TTS, and i'm glad to see someone in this community is actually attempting in making this.
although i wonder if something could be done by doing this with all the NPC's dialogue in the game to be more like modern bethesda games instead of this old text boxes style, because as you can imagine the android screen is quite small compared to a PC monitor and it's not exactly built for that, but i wonder if the game's entire dialogue could be fixed to run more like game dialogue in the more recent style of games like skyrim and fallour 4 using this eleven labs AI TTS tech?
sorry i'm maybe overly excited that this could be possible without even fully knowing if it's possible.
i have wanted to get into this game for years but i have always ran into some of the more technical issues that always held me back because i'm so used to the modern conveyances in games for things like controller support or fully voiced NPC's or in my case because i'm going to be using my phone screen most of the time, perhaps a full UI overhaul that makes these text boxes bigger or more accessible like the modern skyrim fo4 Equivalents.
