QUEST VOICES 3.7
By Von Djangos

Description:
ElevenAI generated voices for quest-giving NPCs in Morrowind. Works with OpenMw.

Currently adds over 1800 original lines of voiced dialogue.

The intention is that every major faction questgiver will ask you about the status of the quest you're on, tell you if they have no jobs left, and recognise you becoming head of the guild.

I've tried to do the same with everyone who has a misc quest - like a naked nord or a lost pilgrim.

They're all trained on the original voice actors, so its 'vanilla friendly' ai, if that's such a thing.

The mod has expanded to included more than just quest givers, but lots of NPCs in Morrowind who have unusual greetings.

Currently covers in full:

All Main Quest NPCs
All Faction Questgivers

Wilderness NPCs looking for help (Naked Nords, lost pilgrims, etc)
Misc quest NPCs and NPCs with non-generic dialogue
Publican greetings
Telvanni greetings & idles
DF and HM spellcaster attack barks ("I'll turn your bones to ash!" etc)
Dunmer guard class idles ("Where is my relief? Always late." etc)
DF Noble class idles ("Her dress was exquisite. I must get the name of her tailor." etc)
Vampire voices and NPC reactions
Questgiver wounded reactions
NPC corprus reactions (vanilla lines)
Female Sleepers
Argonian and Khajiit slaves you can free in dungeons
Nerevarine greetings
Holidays!

3.7
Added some more 'prequest' lines - so you don't end a conversation with a questgiver and have them instantly demand if you've done it or not.

What isn't covered?
As of 3.0, not much! If it has unique greetings in the vanilla game, chances are it is voiced by this Mod. ElevenAI put out an update that allowed Dark Elf males and Khajiit females to be voiced accurately.

FAQ:
Aren't AI-generated voices robotic/static?
They are over longer dialogue lines - when you put multiple phrases together. For short barks or a couple of sentances, with enough 'rerolls' and enough variance in the emotional output, you can get some stunning results.

Any tips for using ElevenAI?
1. When loading in your 25 samples, try to use the longest samples possible. Arrange the list by filesize, and be creative. Training the Breton Male voice will work better using the Chargen class questions than the standard greetings.
2. Keep the sentances short - the longer you try and run a dialogue block, the more likely it will either sound mad (too much tonal variety) or robotic (too monotone)
3. Pull the stability slider down to something like 20-25%, and get ready to reroll around 20 times to get a strong recording. Pretend you're a film director, and say 'I think we got it!' when you nail a take.
4. Putting "around a phrase" or a "word" can make the engine put emphasis on that word or phrase.
5. Exclamation marks and question marks do help guide the tone of voice.
6. Short sounds like Pah, Bah, Hmm or Meh can come through as authentic sounds.
7. The Dark Elf Male, Khajiit/Argonian Female and Orc Male all sound better run through the 'Multilingual 2.0' model of ElevenAi, not the English one. The English model can have more tonal variety for other voices, however.

Everyone at the UESP pages. Without their work on writing out the dialogue and quest stage logic, this would have been a nightmare.

Lucevar for the demo video.

ElevenAI - Scary, brilliant stuff.
