A VERY nice work with shields & bound spells ! Superb!

But I personally find Damage Health effect visuals too aggressive/overwhelming (especially the touch/contact part). Reminds me of DMC or something..  + projectile doesn't have a tail like the vanilla one did. All these moments hinder immersion so I had to revert to vanilla DH.  ........if only there was a more 'slight' version somewhere between vanilla & this one .

In other aspects - Great work! 👍 Using (elemental) shield, bound etc. spells 100% !

    Wow, that looks gorgeous!
tbh effect looks better than skyrim one's. Btw will you do a version for OpenMW?

I don't suppose there are plans to add Bound Greaves and Pauldrons to this mod? Would be an absolute dream come true, honestly the only thing holding me back is my fear of conflicting effects if I download a 3rd party greaves+pauldrons mod and this.

Are you going to cover all of the magic effects in the game?
Tbh I like your style a lot more than the other magic replacements I have seen. Yours is the only one I am really considering. At least, until OpenMW supports it all. I'll take what I can get though that does work.

Yes plan is that. Could do cool stuff already in mwse+mw but its annoying they wouldnt be openmw compatible..
So im sleeping for a year or 2, and see if openmw will allow enough playtools for spell mods than.

This might be a selfish ask, but it's worth a shot if you might consider just doing some magic texture replacements so OpenMW can use them?
      Do you take donations?
I know we won't get any of the fancy effects or anything, but tbh. I have tried other spell textures out there. (And there aren't many)
There's just nothing better than the vanilla textures quite honestly. But the work you have here is fantastic.

does the mod change the animations of regular fire, frost and lightning spells?
    Or only changes shields?

I believe I remember that your original bound items mod also replaced the appearance of the same daedric (actual, not bound) armor and weapons. Is that still the case? I'd love to have that consistency. Great work, by the way, this is incredibly impressive.

Impressive work, I'm most interested in the fact that spells are now a light source. However I was saddened to find out that OpenMW doesn't support this at the moment and going from the devs reply on your ticket it probably won't be anytime soon.
    Is there no hope?

You mention that SR 5 Damage Health version 1.1 is incompatible with OpenMW. However, IIRC, version 1.0 was mentioned as compatible with OpenMW (which is why TotalOverhaul mod list had it in its list). Is that true, namely is version 1.0 compatible with OpenMW, or should we not use version 1.0 for OpenMW?

yes, now SR_5_DamageHealth is not OpenMW compatible.
Sorry for inconvenience, didn't know it was in mod list.
Best we can do is wait out until missing properties gets supported in OpenMw and nifs will work there too.

      (in 1.1 i had to
-add NiSortAdjustNode to fix bad render order flicker problems (property not in openmw yet)
-add NiLight for surroinding lighting(not in openmw yet, and replaces whole model with error marker model)
Also DamageHealth looked bad in fog in OpenMW bc NiFogProperty isn't supported there)
(In 1.1 i also changed the 'on-touch' effect model for better looks)

Thanks! I'll stick to 1.0 for now then!
