Right now, this mod isn't going to receive any more content updates. While I will try to patch out any game-breaking bugs that are mentioned, any future content updates will be included in Imperium.
Hi! Great mod for those of us who love the Imperial Legion :)
One question about the Ruffin's Duke's Guard optional file. What do you mean by "install over the main file"? Should I replace the original files (textures, meshes...) with these ones in the main Imperial Legion Expanded file or should I put it after the main file in the load order. I'm sorry. I'm new to modding Morrowind :)
Also, when trying if it works, no Guard (Caldera) or Legionnaire (Moonmoth) stops me. I'm only a member of the Fighters Guild and I've tried with Studded, Silver and Imperial Steel armor. Still nothing. Is it a rare ocurrence or should these NPCs react always to my armor?
Moreover, the Moonmoth Legion Fort (the only one I've visited so far in my playthrough) hasn't changed a bit. The archers are not wearing leather, nor do the Guard Captain and Larrius Varro wear a unique helmet. Is this because I've installed the mod in an already started game? The Buckmoth Legion Fort is changed. The smith has the new armor, the archers wear leather and there's an Optio helmet on an NPC. I hadn't visited this fort prior to installing the mod.
If you previously visited a location and interacted with an NPC, the mod won't effect them. I think you can open the console and click on an NPC and use the command "resetactor" to load the updated NPC inventory.
As for the guards accosting you for wearing the armour, I might need to rehash the whole system, so there might be an update for that.
Thank you so much for the answer. I'm dying to get back into my Morrowind save and your mod makes the world more alive and real. I'll try the command and see what happens.
Can wait for that update if you feel like getting into it ;)
EDIT:
FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO INSTALL THIS IN AN ALREADY EXISTING SAVE
If you have already visited one of the forts before installing the mod, the NPCs will not be updated. You need to open the console command, select the NPC and type "sethealth 0", exit and re-enter the console and type "resurrect". This is the only way you can reset the inventory of an NPC.
Beware, do not do this with named NPCs as everything resets, including disposition. They will act as if you have met them for the first time. Great for generic NPCs though.
whenever i ask for medium armor for knight errant i get a script telling me missing dragonscale helmet parameters or something like that and it just cancels the dialogue and acts like i never selected it
I should be a bit more specific. This happens when I ask for the Medium Armor set from Sirollus Saccus. It is worth noting that I can go and get a Dragonscale Helm from store, buy it and wear it no problem. So I don't think something is wrong with the item specifically.
Hey. I just finished main Legion questline and I've got to say, those armors are really nicely done. However, as I was using both your mod and Imperial Legion Expansion there are some quirks here and there, nothing too gamebreaking.
1. Initial conversation with General Darius mentions that you can obtain your armor set of choosing from npc in Fort Darius. However, if you are not already wearing legion armor piece, npcs there start "legion papers" conversation which basically allows to use any armor as long as said papers are in player's inventory and legion guards and commanders will not have a problem with it. If someone refuse the papers, they are sent do jail (xD). It seems that the "papers" conversation takes presence before "acquiring the armor set" conversation. That said, it's nothing major and it's not like there isn't any imperial armor anywhere else to be found for that part.
2. When I was sent to acquire Duke's armor set from Sirollus Saccus I've got some weird error which prevented that from happening. As a result I didn't get the armor (again, this is after reclaiming Lord's Mail, so there already is another duke set if player looted whole set along with the Mail).
?Script Dialogue CompileAndRun Item imprm_dukesguard_Lbracer was not found on line 5. Compiled script not saved! ==>CompileAndRun problem was found in Topic "Duke's guard armor" "Here it is, %PCName. It's unlikely you could find something as beautiful to wear. @Good# @luck# in your travels, %PCRank and blessing of the Nine upon you."
Not sure if it happens because there is conflict with Imperial Legion Expansion, but there it is.
Even if it's a minor patch, that would be awesome if someone can make this patch for both these mods so we can all wear amazing Imperial armor and have more story and other cool stuff from both of these wonderful mods together without an error popping up.
Hi. The mod looks very interesting, but guards keep trying to arrest me for wearing light legionnaire armor despite the fact I am in the legion, even when I'm not wearing or carrying legionnaire armor.
Lol ngl this mod encouraged me to do an N'wah Imperial build to fully colonize Morrowind. Otherwise I would only do lore-oriented Dunmer nightblade play
Darius does not have the Orders dialog option with this mod installed. I removed every single mod except the main .esm files so it's definitely this one.
Edit: removing the mod, getting Orders from Darius, then re-enabling the mod allows me to begin the questline as normal with the Orders keyword. of course, now all the guards that this mod replaces are naked, so I have to kill them and resurrect them one by one to reset their inventories.

I really really like this mod and would me more than thankful for any help.

Any idea what is causing it?

Thank you very much for the mod!
I'm still trying to learn Morrowind modding, but it should be possible to find the script and fix it
definitely this one.
